To connect 7sj600 series you will have to connect RS485 converter +ve to relay terminal 29 and -ve to terminal 28. Then using Siprotec 3 option in digsi, u'll able to connect. Make sure interface selection should be digsi v3 in relay. Actually fact is different, once you understand testing concepts these kits are so easy to use, sometimes there will be some queries which can be easily get clear from manual. Ofcourse there are some courses available in market but looking at cost & outcome, i suggesting u to do not waste money in it. Do understand concepts, read manual & learn yourself. Still you need to learn fast by someone, i am providing personal coaching with nominal cost at online & offline both platforms.

Check PSL if there any closing logic mistake, if necessary check real time monitoring, so u can check live status changes. If nothing there from relay side then you need to check external wiring.

Omicron CT Analyser works on voltage injection method, so it can be done without shorting as well, i've also tried same, and it works fine. However it is standard practice for primary injection that CT secondary cannot kept open as it will create burden on CT, also mentioned in omicron CT Analyser manual to short other cores.

You should have device drivers for same model & same or higher P-set version, which you can free download from siemens website.

There is no ethernet port available in these type of compact series, you can communicate with printer cable only...

If you are having no driver installed then you have to download from siemens website. It's available free. It will just ask you to register then you will able to download.👍

Give 2 times or multiple times current of thermal set value, if u need to match timing, set time constant (tau) value to 1min & inject current 2 times of set value, your tripping time will be around 17.26 sec.👍

You can't change in device config. without digsi. But if you already enabled IDMT in device config. then you can manually change curve in settings.

In Siemens you can change front facia if there any problem. But in Schneider you don't have that option, if it is under warranty contact to Schneider or you have to replace the relay. Also Sometimes if you toggle DC, keypad get working again(10% chance only).
