During low light , how far u crank up ur iso in cine 4 ?
@pekakproductionawareness714520 күн бұрын
Yes great video to compare .people nowdays always talking about s cinetone vs slog 3...cine 4 is underated .
@michaelfrymus20 күн бұрын
Only use Slog3 when you have a 10Bit camera. Do not with an 8-Bit camera. In those cases, use Slog2. Cine 4 is a good alternative if you do not grade much.

I know this video is old, and its super helpful. I have a question. On my custom 1 and 2, my shutter keeps auto changing. Shutter doesnt stay on double the fps. Welp! 😭
@michaelfrymus10 ай бұрын
Could it be that you are not in Manual mode? It could be that your video is programmed to the wrong setting in the menu. You may need to change it to M mode before saving it to your custom settings. 5:17. Hopefully you resolved this issue already. I still reply to comments :) I just never got a notification

Because time is money, my question is: can we lock a funktion to the specific button cause if I am in the speed dialing I gotta wait until the function is off so a can set the next setting as iso.. in Nikon this work much faster!

the settings on the video makes a wavey. footage when u pan the camera, what do u think is wrong? i followed ur settings
@michaelfrymus4 жыл бұрын
can you elaborate -- Do you mean, when you pan the camera left and right, the footage bends? If that is what is happening, that is nothing you can fix. Most cameras will have this, this is a result of the sensor called Rolling Shutter. Some sensors are less noticeable while others are more noticeable. Only the very high-end video cameras will have global shutters that do not cause the image to bend. So, it's just a matter of not panning too quickly.
@SerenityNest4 жыл бұрын
@@michaelfrymus yes, so how can u use the 4k if it does that?
@SerenityNest4 жыл бұрын
do u think if u get higher shutter will it solve the problem, like double or triple the frame rate?
@michaelfrymus4 жыл бұрын
@@SerenityNest Don't pan the camera quickly. Slow movements. Its just the way sensors in cameras are. You cannot get rid of the rolling shutter, even with an increased shutter. Its how the sensor scans the image. A higher shutter will just give you less motion blur. The only way to fix this, or reduce the wobble effect is to upgrade to a higher quality camera - but it will still be visible, but not as much.
@SerenityNest4 жыл бұрын
@@michaelfrymus but with 1080p, u can pan side by side but it's doesn't do that only on 4k. thats why i never use the 4k on the camera

Did you need a permission to fly over parc de la Gatineau? I'm having trouble , people tells me they can't and some that can ? I want to fly mine there.
@michaelfrymus4 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure. At the time I shot this, there were no restrictions on flying a drone there. This is not a national park where drones are not allowed and there was no information on the site stating that drones were not permitted. I contacted people there beforehand to see if I was allowed, and was not told I couldn't. Just to fly safely and respectfully. Not sure if things changed since.

What framerate were you shooting at? I notice the jitter. Did you use an ND? Awesome stuff though!!
@michaelfrymus4 жыл бұрын
With an ND filter @24p 1/50, sometimes at 1/60 as even with the strongest ND filter it was a tad too bright. But shouldn't really have jitter. Then again, it being so minimal, non-filmmakers probably wont notice it..

Awesome video! What shotgun mic and mount are you using? It sounds awesome!
@michaelfrymus5 жыл бұрын
Rode NTG2 Shotgun Mic. Great mic, but I would prefer something that isn't as directional for these types of KZbin videos so you don't have to be directly in front of it all the time. I use this mic for interviews all the time. As for the mount, I got rid of it and don't use it anymore, but it was the Rode PSA1. Great arm of clamped to the desk. But I need more flexibility so now I just use a C-Stand + arm instead
