You need zinc additive in ur oil. 4.0s were intended to be used with zinc oil as it coats and provides extra protection to the internal components. Chrysler didn't know zinc would be taken out of oil for epa reasons. I use lucus zddp zinc additive in all my cherokees.

You should push your jack handle in, then turn it. That’s why the handle is slotted. There is a hole cut in the handle it fits the rod that connects the jacks.

Okay,so what you have is a crystal ore line, those are normally found with opal and thats not how you want to break it, it looked like it was quartz which still would be rare. The weakest part of the rock is that crack so tap gently all around it dont rush it. so most geodes have cracks among the rocks if the rock feels lighter than it should than its a hollow geode. If there is cracks among the outside and it feels heavy than its solid through and through, hit lightly on the hollow hit hard on the solids.could u imagine if i was like i think thats a daimond, and my hammer breaks daimonds let me hit it as hard as i can, uh oh all worthless now. Be gental my dude stop being a power house and do 5 minutes of research please

One way to tell is if it’s lighter than the other rocks in the area. This one was but apparently not a geode. You can also shake them and if you hear something rattling, then there’s a void and possibly a geode

The method works but he marked on the wrong side of the tape. The right edge of the tape is anchored at the front end not the left edge. Therefore it had to be rotated to 6 inches on the right side of the tape to find center. Had he done it right it would have been perfect.

There is a port to attach a hose made into the saw. You know where the dust bag that does nothing attaches. Put it where that goes
@FabricateUnclear29 күн бұрын
Small garage/workshop… so I’m slowly building this spot out to have shelves and cabinets. So I figured why not enclose it. The dust bag was helpful when I did use it, but still had a bunch of dust/debris go around it too, so this shroud helps contain it. And the vacuum takes care of the finer dusts that usually goes towards the front of the mitersaw.
@Home_Depot29 күн бұрын
This is cool and all but why not just use the built in port on the saw for attaching the vaccume? The whole box you have built just seems like it's gonna trap a bunch of sawdust in it and be very difficult to vaccume it out, you can already see it starting to build up in this video. As far as the plastic to keep dust out of your face, just wear saftey glasses...
@FabricateUnclear29 күн бұрын
The box actually keeps about 90-95% of the dust contained, so it’s easier to breathe while working in the garage. It’s too hot to keep the garage door open while working. I did wear a mask for awhile, but it’s just too hot, so this is a better alternative. It’s actually not that hard to vacuum it all up, takes only a few seconds to clean it out.
