Genuine question: where is the red? Even the adult doesn't look more coloured up than yellow/albino ones i have been supplying local shops for years.

These are cute fish with a fun personality. I have 3 in my 90 gallon with 2 small Angelfish. My main goal of this tank is to be a discus tank as the centerpiece fish. I think these fun little guys(&girls) will add a little something extra to my tank. I have some really neat hiding places for the Corydoras. I was concerned how the angels might respond. When I put the Cory’s in the tank the Angelfish checked them out for a few seconds and then got bored of them and never bother them.

My new little baby leopard ctenopoma won't eat. :( I don't know what to do, I've tried frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp, flakes, and sinking pellets. He stares at the food and will "stalk" it, but then swim away. Any advice?

Been researching this fish for weeks because I’ve been thinking of getting a couple and man am I glad this popped up in my recommendations. I never thought about having a staple colony of fish in the tank for them to hunt. Using guppies or endlers is great cuz they’re prolific breeders and repopulate like crazy.

These are great fish 👍🏻. I had 2 named George and Laura Bush fish. Lived many years they became so personable and engaging , playful even. Sneak up on me while observing them. Again such a fun fish.

Looks like you have some bladderwortin this tank. This plant is carnivorous and will eat baby fry even cuppy sized fry can be eaten by bladderwort. Remove it from your tanks Also only leave one pair to breed in your tanks at a time and definitely remove the parents or provide a lot of densely foliged plants for them to hide among and feed on infusoria and bio film for them to feed on once they use up their egg yolks/

Hi John, thank you for watching! You can put them in with shrimp. But, the Scarlet Badis have a high prey drive and will hunt baby shrimp. Also, Guppies can work but you might find the Scsrlet Badis hiding more. Also, if they breed, the Guppies will eat the Scarlet Badis eggs.

I have 15 Harlequin Rasboras in my 29 gal tank, and yes they are gorgeous fish. So now I am looking at what is compatible with them. I am going to get some small corey catfish and perhaps and algae eater or two, but I am undecided at this time.

Hi Heather, Great video ! Question#1: What camera/lens did you use for your close-ups ? Question#2: Are your sterbais still thriving now that it's a couple of years later ? I've got 9 in a 29 gallon with cardinals as dither fish but they remain inactive except feeding time(s). I do 10% water changes daily, have 80% R/O and sand substrate. Any suggestions ??
