"The catch"-instrument shows the actual Fill-Levels of your dredge-net in green and the red. Before you started working on deck, the the instrument shows the Levels up to 80 in white color. To me it seems to be a bug, because it fills up when the net reaches the ground - without trawling. Maybe it is only with the Old Ben. Btw. I sold it already. I grind to higher Ingame-money to buy one of these modern scalop boats with crew and automated work. Nice background music - very chilling. I like it. Oh and you need to lay the net down into the rest position. If not you're not able to fast-Travel. The shadow of the net showing that it hangs up in the sky.... haha. (You solved it later...)

Fishing with a net has a huge advantage that you don't have to put bait on it, you can take it out and cast it forever, unless you break it, in which case you have to repair it or buy a new one.

i think you can skip time at sea in most ship by using your ship clock.

I understand that as a KZbinr you have to provide a variety of gameplay, but currently you are wasting a lot of time in which you would catch a lot of Lobsters, do a lot of missions and discover other ports and boats. Moreover, the starting boat has a larger capacity than the one you bought. I know you are a beginner, what is super profitable for you is just collecting pennies for me. I could recommend you a way to make millions, but I don't want to spoil the fun, you definitely need to discover and read the boat statistics carefully.

You have fast travel enabled, if you disable it when creating a save, Autopilot would be a must

I noticed you took some small lobsters if you take small lobsters you will get less money than usual.

Follow the dolphines to the school of fishes, also the sea gulls will help to find the swarms. Maybe the gamefile needs another save and reload to fix the issue with your worker. I hired two workers - so they can pull out the deeplines and I steer the boat.... The buoy-beacons also seems not to function as they should. In my game the beacons are better visible. However the Searchlight let you see the buoy in a good distance. Nice relaxing episode.

deepline you need to guess your timing. after you catch a fish ( turn blue ) you need to wait a few hr for deep line to catch another fish or more. but if you wait too long the fist will start escaping the line and you will get none.

I did 64,9 Mill yesterday insane money. But hope thay fix the sell of the fish like stockmarket. The price can fall and get up in the demands for types of fish... Thx for your video mate love it <3

You shoulda bought the Lenore it’s very easy to use and even if you had no money for a crew you coulda got a loan then bought deepline selected bait for *tuna* get a crew from the money you got from the bank then skip time until it’s month season to catch tuna until you get enough to pay off your loan it’s how i always do it without fail.or instead of catching tuna you could go cod since cod is the 3rd most expensive fish in game

for crew i focus on hiring the one that need lower cut from fish sell. later on this fee will add up a lot. and if you need to spend 1% more you can just use that money to train crew instead. if you have level 20 hualing crew he will 95% get you a perfect score when hualing longline. and level 20 guting will alway give you 5 star (50% more money when sell).

When I played the first one, I never got 5 stars . it's most time, 3 stars or 2 and half stars.

i just start playing this game yesterday after realize ship at sea will take a long time to develope. this game is much better imo. im actually surprise when i see that it's the same dev team. like why it degrade so much. in this game they clearly show buoy catching zone and it's have decent size.

My guess is that refuel stations get used by "Npc" so to have mission available to player at all times. They should add that if you flip over you get (1 cost money to flip back over) or (2 cost money to flip over and you respawn back in port.) This game can be very good, question is if devs are gonna stick with it to get it there. Also have you done the pick up trash yet?

i just go and try net. it's easier to catch buoy compare to line but it still as buggy as i can see in your video. and i notice that if you accidently move your fish storage box while you untangle the fish. you can't store that fish anymore. you practically lose that fight because of bug.

They added "One Boat catches fire - needs help" and "One Boat has a breakdown and asks for a tow into a save area" as a Mission Pop-Up. Both missions are fun, poping up randomly and if you ignore them they also disapear after an amount of time. You also may get some money out of the refueling the refueling stations with fuel from the endless Main Refueling Stations. There are two of them on the map. But this doesn't show up as a mission. The ocean-below surface-missions are fun but on the other hand the developer wrote that they improved their physical implementation. I think, that there is something wrong in their maths. I think the relations of how big the world is, to how big the waves are and also how waves are moving and rolling are out of physical logik... From the days I saw rough water, I always saw the waves are moving in long parallel "lines", interferred by the Wind which is always connected the moving directions of the waves from the back-ish site. The crossing waves disturbing the general waves (I mean the small ones that let you tip over) are far too high for my taste. The Tier 1 boats can't be mindful dealing with that water and the Tier 2 tipping on speeds higher than about 20km/h (10-11 knots). The white crown on top of the waves looks good for me and also that they are coming up with more strng winds higher than 5-6 beaufort. However the game has really good potential if the amount of crossing waves would be fixed. Nice video. Cheers and Grüße aus Deutschland. GG

@19:30 ish would not using emergancy stop do anothing? Waves are cool. So far in the video it seems like the net fishing is a bit wonky, and net is way to small or to few fish. How ever next time your going to do line fishing, cast out a few nets then do the line fishing and pick up net after? maybe they are intended to stay in water a long time? A small note on the patch notes.. Love that you used the time from port to talk about them and read them out. but trying to "explain every1 is kinda dumb\ not needed. The once about the wave behind the boats was good because that dident tell me anything(wake?). but some that are " MP saves fixed" or crash this fix. is ok to just be read and not explained. :)

Yeah.... For me (my Opinions & thoughts on the actual game as a Early Access (unfinished yet): Fishing Boats: How many fish can a boat handle? 500 tons on a Tier2 fishing boat? LOL Netfishing: the Nets are too small - always only 2 "Fish-Actions" per Net, the webbly wobbly fish tending to glitch between the box, the nettable, making you stuck. Longlines: The HitBox on the mouth for hooking the fish is a bit too small; FishFarming: The amount of money of 100000 fishes seems too high - nice too have the money but that high? Ok, maybe the next Tier-boats are greater than 100 Millions in costs. If so, then Fish Farms are the way to make most money out. Espacially if one can handle more than one farm at a time. For me Dr Phil and the Cargo missions and the Fixer / Skarven are the best choices to do the missions. However, fishing should be fixed, and will be as I read in the Steam-Discussions in the near future with next patches, if there is more balancing - we will see. What is about the differences of the fish habitats. Does it make any different. OK some fishes are living in explicit areas - but more differences I couldn't see. Best prices in April were on Cod and in May it seems to be hallibut. I like this game a lot and would like to have passenger/car ferries and individual power settings on the two propellers of Dr. Phil. I like this video as well. Greetings from Germany. TK

I spend 86 playing-hours now, I have the class 4 Skipper Certificate at Level 29 now and 117367 XP in total. My travelled distance is now 947.9 km (589mi) You can pull the boat nearer on the yellow fastener.... With engineer skills you can repair the ship hull; You go on deck aiming to the motorhood, if the hull needs repair you may repair it this way - it costs you nothing, but you might not repair all of the hull - it depends on the skill and of cause of the damage-amount. I fill first 8 BigPacks FishFood for 100000 smolt; Then there is of cause more than enough - but it may happen that the fish eats more randomly. If the fishfarm-Netting is going down in health - then go around the farm and controll the knots- you may be able to tighten the knots up. That would fix the health and prevent the birds stealing your fish. Oh and never leave the fish farming in the save game. When loading the saved game it can be that all your breeding efforts are away then. With "TAB" in the Missions-Window you can change the active shown mission for your convinience. Norwegian pronounciation of the names can you hear via Google Translator or similar. You will be surprised That Røst is pronounced like 'Løst' ( with short vokals spoken - I mean the "ø"-section is pronounced like the "u" in "hurt" (I hurt sb.). Fancy right? 😅 Nice video.
