Definitely a team effort 💪 mike done a great job on the ECU calibration. Engine produced strong numbers and can't wait to do some filming out on the roads.

I like the idea of screw in frieze plugs. Are these 2000HP cars drivable on the public roads or is it a race car?

Yeah there totally drivable on the street on this block. Being cast you don't have to pre heat like a billet block and it has minimal shape change.

You should move the engine closer to the bench, moving back and forth must drive you made. Impressed with how clean you room is and how it’s supposed to be.

Did you modify the transmission to hold that power level? Need more information on how well the platform will handle that power over time vs a glory pull

If the gearbox has a good cooler and the fluid is well kept and not abused they hold strong power. Main reasons they let go is if the torque reduction between gear changes are not set up.

I just bought an RX-8 last year and it's the most fun car I've ever owned and I've owned over 13 cars... It's worth the required maintenance.... There is actually an extreme value in having an RX-8.... And you could put a 3 or 4 rotor motor in there.... With a turbocharger... Huge potential... And it'll handle better than a hellcat which doesn't require much

Can you tell us which 8hp70 was used? The bell housing from Charger and Jaguar would be too big? Even V8 BM!

you can use the Supra Kit. Only thing that needs changing is the gearbox mount. Just needs modify the bolt holes

More then open to talking about why we swapped it to 8HP. aa80e is a grate gearbox all round holds good amount of power and will shift amazing under full load full power. But driving around town the gearbox control was never developed enough to make it smooth and soft where the 8HP and CAN TCU is amazing at both
