Love this build! I really love the anti-lag with the flames and pops from the exhaust. I also really love that large wing! Reminds me of a rally style wing without the full WRC look. Do you know what wing that is?

It's using anti lag on the over run to get the flames and pops. Only available with the syvecs ECU to make it like that.

Higher 5/30 but we do some internal engine oil modification for the engine's we build over 600hp. 👍

Intro with a Lamborghini blue flame fest, followed with “don’t know why it burnt the exhaust valves out”… 😂 What coolant pressure would you be unhappy with when running c2 bar gauge?

We have never burnt a valve out on any engine in 15 years of tuning and Dyno testing. Others may not know how to do correct engine calibration but we know how and when to ignite the mixture downstream. EGTs stay below 925c even on the anti lag. Coolant pressure rising to 1.2/1.4 bar with boost up at 2.4/2.5 bar shows head lift. Coolant pressure should be stable once up to temperature 0.7/0.8 bar and not really change.

@ Appreciate you sharing your time and experience. I’m putting a coolant pressure sensor onto my engine so great to have real data as even 0.7-0.8 bar would probably freak me out at first sight. I fully expect you to have all safety thresholds such as an upper egt limit for als in place given the investment in the car and you being builder/mapper. I just enjoyed the edit 😂

That's a good question. We will need to wait until the aftermarket ECUs catch up before we can tune the gearbox so the extra power can be applied and not slip the clutchs in the new auto box.

I think if your starting from absolutely no parts and want to jump from Std power to 650hp including the gearbox and all the work and parts budget for 35 to 40K isn't unrealistic. 😬

This isn't the case. We done a strip down and check on a previous engine running close to 800hp just for inspection and check over for our own piece of mind and and R&D can say that the main and rod bearings looked like New like the day we built it after 5000 miles of abuse. The G16 engine is proving to be very robust once built and tuned correctly.
