Here's my take on the pain.... As you were describing how the chosen ones turn pain into a lesson... i realized that i have been someone who has not been afraid of physical pain .. infact i have never ever been afraid of unbearable physical pain, and have realized since a long time ago that i have this uncanny ability to endure pain. Of course on the other hand, mental pain has been the greatest teacher who exposed me to spirituality -that's an esrablished fact... but ,even physical pain has also supported to understand how strong i am in such situations ... the.culmination of all this has been the keen definition to sense emotional and physical pain which in turn has aided.in understanding this attibute to mental formations and the working of the mind....finally to realize how the mind latches onto the asoect of " feeling" be it mental or physical... many thanks for your description cos it aided in sorting out this revelation to a better perspective the jumbled understanding i have had so far... much merit and many blessings from Sri Lanka❤

Could it be that we are not chosen but we are 'choosers'. That sounds like a silly word but I do believe that it's true. If you are authentic, it is because you choose to love yourself.
