the frozen debris layers are added about day 60, and about the same time, youll be done being out on the pontoon outrigger raft. So the coveralls and pack that you stuffed with debris and used as pontoons on the raft can be returned to their normal use. You will already have 5 layers of clothing already, including the 3 pairs of pants made out of the remaining half of the 12x12 tarp and duct tape, with 4 layers of dry, soft debris between the clothing layers, as additional insulation. After you remove the tape and debris from the coveralls, youll have 8 layers of clothing and 7 layers of debris., a layer of reflective tyvek, 2 layers of tarp 12" of dry debris and 6" of frozen debris around you.

about day 30, you need to add the winterization layer, Little by little, during the first month, you've accumulated the poles for the external frame ,the stakes and the dry debris. The actual adding the debris and the producer's 10x16 ft tarp. and staking it down takes a bit over an hour. Then you'ire good down to 20F. or a bit colder. If you've practiced doing so at home, the final assembly of this tent takes 1 hour or less. It takes 1-2 hours to find and cut the poles and the stakes.
