so exciting news! hiroyuki sanada, who's not only the star but also the producer of fx's awesome limited series shōgun, just sealed the deal to come back as lord yoshii toranaga. there are still some details being ironed out and contracts getting signed as fx is really pushing to give shogun another season especially after it rocked both the commercial and critical scenes with its first run!

just the usual, Sanada already signed with Fx for a season two and Fx is thinking in even making a third season, at least the second season is pretty much a reality now, i hope that it just doesnt take 6 years to be made
