Kissing Tree is 121 to play... it is a very nice course. It is in a retirement community, with comfortable carts, always can find the TX State golf team out there playing or practicing. Short course, but missing the fairway is punishing...

So if you hit it into the flowers you're just supposed to smack the shit out of them? Or is it out of bounds?

It’s a beautiful course been there number of times it’s breath taking

I always get stuck with high prices as my trips (15 years now) have always coincided with Spring Training. I really need to get out there during summer and get some primo golf in. My favorites are TPC Scottsdale, 500 Club, Troon North, AZ Grand and Estrella. Also oh honorable mentions are Verrado, Ocotillo and Stonecreek.

Don’t know how you didn’t mention one of the course on Staten Island or Brooklyn or Bronx. Ya know courses that are technically part of NYC. All the ones you mentioned are outside of the 5 boroughs of NYC. Having said that I’d recommend LaTourette or Silver Lake in Staten Island. Silver Lake is very channeling cause it’s narrow, Latourette is easier but very long. Both usually less than $60-$70. Silver Lake is very close to ferry that connects Staten Island to Manhattan. Like 10-15 min uber/cab from ferry. And Ferry is actually free to ride

A little bit outside NYC area but I’ve heard West Point is a good course.

I have played all of the Bethpage courses, many times. They are in wonderful condition and when you factor in the number of rounds played it's truly amazing how well they are maintained. Problem is it's fairly difficult to get a tee unless you are a walk-up single and it takes forever to play a round.

Yes. For TWO REASONS. One: obviously to warm up. Its just a fun concept Two: A tiebreaker hole. This way its quick access to the hole rather than having to travel back to say hole 8 which is way farther away. It can speed up the process of a tiebreaker. Also it could be great for promotions too. I would always make them a par 3 though.

I vote a solid, unequivocally, 100% YES! It is definitely worth playing.

Play Timber Point, Middle Bay and Bethpage often. I live 2.5 miles from Bethpage. It's known as "The Peoples Country Club". Considering the amount of play they get they are kept in immaculate condition. Middle Bay was a private club at one time but is now Semi-Private and is in nice condition but the greens are very well known for being small and fast. They generally run at a 10-12 on the stimp.

Turquoise Valley Golf course on the border Naco Az. When the original owners sold it 'to the city of bisbee', there was a clause in the deal to Keep it a Golf Course forever basically . Its now known 'the city' sold it to developers who had big plans to turn it into a fancy park. They ignored that Cause, abd had the nerve ro sell it, no one noticed... Its been sitting dry for a few years, and the new so called owners havent done a thing. We welcome your prayers that it Will become a green course again, and that the city officials are held responsible for doing this.🎉

Dude this course is a must play. Played it last fall, unbelievable
