Funnily enough, I bought this figure recently in my Japan trip I am not the biggest Dragon Ball fan, very casual in fact but I had to get a Goku just for a Dragon Ball representation and to pay respects to Toriyama in some way.

As a MASSIVE Dragonball fan, I'm very much looking forward to this month!

This recommendation is only going to be worthwhile to other artists in New Zealand....But the Warehouse/ Warehouse stationary's in house art brand Uniti has a line of alcohol markers definetly worth buying for casual/beginners looking to get into markers. Nib and brush tip, colors match swatches nicely , decent starter range of colors and an affordable price (For NZ RIP). Downsides are brush tip frays easily, color names sometimes make no sense, colour range could be bigger but again for people only just getting into them it's a decent starting point. They're worthwhile as copics are stupidly expensive here and Ohuhu aren't an option as they wont deliver here TT_TT

Lioconvoy I've seen that brand of markers at my local Ross store, never used them before, I tend to use the Art Skills Blendable Markers Alcohol based. The markers are Dual tip with a chisel and fine tip, it also includes a blending marker. To be honest I've been having problems with marker especially with the paper I've been using mixed media sketch book that accepts wet and dry media heavyweights paper.

The Strathmore 300 series is good for mixed media bristol paper! What brand did you use for the first marker drawing? Edit: a good beginner friendly marker brand would be the Arteza markers. They're super affordable and they currently have a cyber Monday and holiday sales going. I have them and they blend well with copic markers too. Especially the gray tone sets :)

But when the Synnibear drama happened and I saw his video, I didn't paid attention to it at first. I really like the concept of a new prime such as Rodimus who was way more aggressive. Most of the time Optimus’s relations with the Decepticons as his kin were just really whack. There’s like numerous autobots who took way more aggressive stances, Ultra Magnus etc all went to battle without much stroke of mercy. Optimus always went “maybe there’s another way.” Each time, then you see somewhat like Rodimus go full to throttle. But new series/additions to really fail to go past Optimus as a leader.

It's just baffling. JAR throughout his time he exposed some of these crazy content creators, he routinely had to deal with hit pieces people made of him. He also was good at covering media, and I thought "hey he seems pretty based" but then this came along. I thought he was better then this.

I’ve had so many people, I though saw me as a friend as I did them. I never let myself question why I was the only one helping them, comforting them, defending them. Until one day I was accused of theft by someone in that friend group. They all turned their backs on me, I was outcasted and not one asked for my side or even questioned if that was something I would do. Even after the truth came to long, they never reach out to apologize, I only happened to be brought back in to the friend group when I met one at a family members party. When my grandmother (whom raised me in to the person I am now.) found out I was attempting to befriend them again, she told me this. “They never told you the necklace was found, never thought to even apologized. You should question how much space you hold in the heart and prayers of those ‘friends.’” Really wish I realized how right she was back then looking back.

Optimus Prime is the best of the two. Optimus Prime has a strong sense of justice, loves all his Autobots and uses the Power and Wisdom of the ages within the Matrix of Leadership to its fullest. He defeated Megatron everytime during season 1 and 2 even when the odds were against him. And during the Movie even though he was mortally injured (thanks to Hot Rod's interference during his fight with Megatron) Optimus Prime defeated and severy injured Megatron to an inch of his life and repelled the Decepticon attack on Autobot City when the Autobots were about to lose the city. At the end of season 3 Optimus Prime saved the galaxy from the Hate Plague with the Wisdom of the Matrix of Leadership and gained a short "truce" with Galvatron who finally respected Prime. Rodimus Prime is in his core a young mind that had to deal with the burden of Leadership to the best he can. His flaws are that he is still a young hot head and is very insecure due to his new role as leader to fill in the big shoes of Optimus Prime unlike when he was Hot Rod. He lost the Matrix of Leadership twice thanks to these flaws. Also you mentioned in your vid that Rodimus Prime saved and resqued Autobots on another world. Yes he did save these Autobots from slavery from Galvatron BUT also destroyed their new home planet in the proces with no guild over it. That was a very strange move on his part and I think Optimus Prime would not have made that same decission. The planet was rich with energon and would have been a big solution to provide Cybertron the energy it needed. At the end of the Movie Rodimus Prime did defeat the Decepticons and regained control of Cybertron because he defeated Galvatron and without Galvatron to lead the Decepticons it was a lot easier to win the war. It is evident that when Galvatron was back that the Decepticons were again at full force to restart the war again. So during this time he did grow as a leader but was still dealing with his insecurities as a leader. I liked his character arc but I am glad his reign as leader ended and have Optimus Prime again take over leadership over the Autobots.
