This song is just perfect, it suits Shuichi and the whole vibe of Danganronpa V3, I was talking to a friend a bit ago (at the time of me writng this), he said that the music in Danganronpa represents the protagonists very well, and you know what? I agree with that. Trigger Happy Havoc, has more ominous and hopeful tracks for their class trails, they match perfectly for Makoto Naegi, a kid who's speciallty isn't detective work, but still has hope that he can figureout what happened, while getting help, he's the hero who brings hope to everyone Goodbye Despair is also interesting, the music during cases it's more tense, it symoblizes Hajime Hinata very well, to me, Hajime is essentially Makoto in different circumstances, he has no talent, and therefore no one expects too much from him, and in the requires a lot more help than Makoto, he's still can solve the cases, but he gets more help from the other students, and in the end he definitely pretends he can't be a leader, but he's capable of guiding everyone, a hero in his own regards And finally, V3, anytime I hear this song, I keep getting reminded Shuichi, who like Hajime is Makoto in a few different circumstances, he argueably has the best talent for the job and needs minimal to absolute zero help to solve the case, but with all that being said, I don't imagine he's the hero (at least not ti'll the end), but he's obviously not the villan, he's just the person who brings the tough truth to the world, you can say he actually is being a hero, but the issue with that is the fact that when the truth is how it can affect him, when the truth was something about his friends, he can't hold back from crying, he's bot saving anyone, he's just prosecuting and figuring out the truth that can hurt, and in the end, the moment he realized that he willingly voulentereed to join the killing game and cried, it genuinely broke me too, Shuichi is the character I rooted for the entire time, he wants to help and he defenitely does, but sometimes knowing the truth can hurt, but it's ultimately the thing everyone must do to continue, and in the end, he helps everyone finally face the truth along with him, he was truly a hero there. And so yeah, the Danganronpa musc is top tier, but the protagonists are truly what makes the meaning of the osts stand out, if I were to choose my favorite protagonists, it'd had to be Shuichi by a bit more then the two (and I have a bais for emo boys, don't judge), and this song is perfect for him
