Bear in mind that E15 is water detected in the base, where ever it has come from, e. g. dirty seal (as here), leaking sump or drainage pipe , leaking water inlet valve .

Hi I also got E15 on Bosch silence plus, I got some water leak out while changing outlet pipe that was damaged by rodents, I think I got some water in there from that pipe, now everything is cleaned but code e15 persists, am thinking it could be some water splashed on other wires, or could it be some damaged wiring? Now left machine to dry at heating radiator, will see tomorrow if code persists when its dry.

All going well and entirely to sequence until I got to removing the pressure sensor. Firm pull just won’t come off. Of course you couldn’t show the actual removal as your hand covered it. Do you squeeze it, lift it from the back or front,left side, right side, straight up. It looks so flimsy don’t want to break any retaining clips. Help!
@NowFixit6 күн бұрын
Hi, sorry for the slow reply! The sensor is very tight. A lot of people dab out the water from the tray, it takes a little more time but is safer if you are worried about breaking the sensor. Hope that helps! Cheers, Phil

This is why I love KZbin! My wife tells me that our 10 yr old Bosch Classixx washing machine is broken and is about to order a new one - I type in the error code and up pops this brilliant and extremely clear video. I remove the brushes and as predicted they are less than 1cm long - well worn. I order new set on Amazon at 5.99, refit and clear the error code. First wash is running next morning! Many thanks

Brilliant video, informtive and well shot. Just done my Bosch. It's a slimline so space is tight when trying to soak up the water but used the kitchen towel trick. The code has gone and just running a clean cycle. Thanks

Splendid video. You're a star. In my case I could hear the pump running even though the machine was not in use which I thought was weird but having understood the anti-flood feature it made sense. I couldn't see any obvious leaks so I hope the cause was in fact the minimal amount of gunk around the door seals. The only scary bit was removing the sensor as it's clipped in firmly but this is important to soak up the tiny amount of water which can cause the sensor switch to be activated.

Managed to eliminate E15 code on our NEFF dishwasher thanks to this video. It took a lot longer because our dishwasher is integrated with other kitchen units so I couldn't pull the unit out unless I broke of the skirting in front. Perhaps because of the skirting there was no white plastic cover to remove and I could remove the metal cover in front of the sensor and polystyrene disc without disturbing the skirting. After removing the water and putting back the sensor, insulation and metal cover I had trouble getting the door cover back on. I had to remove a wooden fascia from the door cover and then prop the top of the door open with a short section of wood in order to fit back the metal door cover and then re-attach the wooden fascia. After it was all put back, plugged in and functioning, my wife noticed a small piece of white plastic with a thin blue band on it that looked familiar to something I saw in the dishwasher innards earlier. I am unable to paste a photo of it here and hope it doesn't cause a problem later.

Just found this video after a quick search. The only thing I did different is I didn't take out the sensor I found that having it tipped back was enough that I could mop the back of the unit and so far so good. I currently have it on a quick wash to see .... fingers crossed 🤞

Thanks, your instructions helped me fix my Bosch Clasixx E:15 code, but I couldn't lift the clear switch block off the top of the disk no matter how hard I pulled, so I just had to use kitchen towel to soak up the water. Cleared the code anyway. Thanks again.

Thankyou - you saved Christmas. Well, Boxing Day, at least! This error came up at 2am on Boxing Day, along with the horrendous and scary sound of the pump which, if you dont know what it is, sounds like a machine about to explode! Since the cycle had finished, this video first of all gave me the confidence to go to bed, and in the morning, all tackled withon an hour. As someone else here said, the best tip was to really give that sensor a good pull - the tension is just plastic on plastic, not electrical connectors. My machine was a built-in Neff, and this definitely worked. Thanks again!

Brilliant, really clear. Worked a treat, problem solved on slightly different model Siemens built-in so a bit more fiddly to access the float. Thanks a million!

Thank you so much - Our dishwasher's E15 code was part of the 90% that could be fixed by cleaning the gunk around the gaskets and then soaking up the water beneath the styrofoam float. We've run 4 loads since the repair and no recurrence of the E15.

Thanks for a very good informative video. Our 6 year old Siemens iQ500 threw the E15 and the Siemens service engineer could find no fault other than the float having activated due to a small amount of water which he removed as in the video: this cost us £106 ! A week later and it threw the error again but I have fixed it following the instructions in your video. If it occurs again we will get a new dishwasher - tough not a Siemens, Bosch or Neff!

Sorry to hear about the call out cost. 😱 If it genuinely was the door seal, clean it every few months and it shouldn’t reoccur. They’re pretty good machines apart from this little niggle. The other one to watch for is the filter inside the machine blocking, easily removed and cleaned. If you haven’t done it before there is a vid on my channel for it. It’s another error code one, can’t remember the number offhand. Cheers, Phil

Copy what @postsilv71 said. Had this issue. Read F.21 as a drain issue. Check filter and drainage, all clear except for a 2p coin. Then I found your video specifically for a Bosch. Removed Motor, sure enough brushes were like in your video. Followed your link to Amazon, ordered Friday evening, arrived 8am Saturday morning. Fitted them as per video, put Motor back, followed the rest pattern, still had F.21 error. Done reset a few times then figured it was the other 10% causing F.21. Sunday decided to try and get door open to remove washing, couldn't find a way, then tried the reset again, voila error cleared. My machine is almost identical to the one you're working on, except my spin is not at 6 o'clock, more like 6.35, I have a rinse at 6 I think. Anyway, great work.
