Thank you for the video. I just want to clarify about prorogation. If Trump decides to put a 25 percent tariff on Canadian goods, the Canadian government can still respond even if Parliament is in prorogation. The government can make quick decisions to impose its own tariffs as part of its operations. But for any major actions (such as NAFTA/USMCA, budget, new laws), the government usually needs to get approval from Parliament when it starts meeting again. Thanks

In such situations, the government can act quickly to ensure national security and public safety. This might include sending military forces, implementing security protocols, and coordinating with other agencies. Same with tariffs.

@@Voxann I know, I just meant I can't interpret sign language, but appreciated the energy with which it was said. In vocal speech, we can use intonation, accent, pitch, dictation, dialect etc to show emotions and meanings beyond the simple words spoken. Likewise, even without those avenues of communication, she still manages to come across as an engaging and enthusiastic reporting of breaking news, which is even more impressive. It's pure skill in communication, regardless of language.

I'm just learning ASL, and what I appreciate about her signing is its clarity. She signs very articulately, it's enjoyable to watch. And films it very well. Lighting and framing in some videos makes it challenging to make out subtle sign features, especially for beginners. (Which isn't necessarily important for videos by fluent Deaf people, for fluent Deaf people-- depending on their purpose. But certainly appreciated by learners. And likely more accessible to Deafblind people.)
