Thank you for the video. I just want to clarify about prorogation. If Trump decides to put a 25 percent tariff on Canadian goods, the Canadian government can still respond even if Parliament is in prorogation. The government can make quick decisions to impose its own tariffs as part of its operations. But for any major actions (such as NAFTA/USMCA, budget, new laws), the government usually needs to get approval from Parliament when it starts meeting again. Thanks

Thank you for explanation. Wonder if something happens like war, what will your gov’t do during suspension? Your govt health insurance still runs? Pray for all Canadians…

In such situations, the government can act quickly to ensure national security and public safety. This might include sending military forces, implementing security protocols, and coordinating with other agencies. Same with tariffs.
