I attended their concert when they played at the Bucks County Community College back in 1970. The whole band was there. I enjoyed every minute they played. They then went to New York to record the live album at the Filmore.

Go check out Red Clay Strays from Mobile Alabama. They’re walking in the Southern Rock footsteps and they’re incredible.

This is the first 30 plus minutes song I’ve ever heard and it’s exquisite. One of the best bands ever to do the damn thang.

Bought" Eat A Peach"in 72. First album I ever bought.Blue Sky was the only song I knew by abb. After listening to the entire album I had to ask myself who are these guys and what was it I just listened to,sounded like about four different bands. I'm 70 years old now and about 3 or 4 times a year I listen to MT Jam and it still moves me like no other piece of music before or since.

RIP Dickey. I don't know if there's an afterlife, but I'd like to believe that he and Duane are finally playing together again.

I can't believe it's been almost 21 years since they played in Utah. (Today is 3/22/24) They stopped by every year from '93-'98. This show was a doozy! SLC might be "in the mountains," but it's hot as balls in July. I had a lot of fun at the show in my backyard.

There is a saying in Jazz music. If you're the best player in your band, you're in the wrong band. Making this the ONLY band that was correct for Dickie Betts. At that time, he was the second best guitar player in this band, and probably 5th or 6th best in the world.

for years I have wondered if it's just a coincidence that Duane and Berry reach crescendo (the top of the mountain) at 24 mins and 24 seconds into this recording of the song. Both were 24 when they died.

The Brothers are great on here. I'd like to pass on some accolades to the writer of the great song that this came from. First There Was A Mountain by Donovan. You hear mountains going up and falling down again on this 33 minute journey.
