Okay, so this is a great recipe for pan, but not a good recipe for deep dish. You really need some sort of yeast or instant yeast to make the light and fluffy inside of a deep dish. This crust is really thick and worked well for pan pizza, even thin crust maybe, but definitely not pan. It was half baked and crumbly and then I covered it with foil and put it back in had and it had a dough taste to it when it was finished.

I've tried this recipe and it worked so well! Planning to make it again today. Thank you for this amazing recipe! Dry ingredients: 3 cups whole wheat flour 1 tsp instant yeast (proof for 5 minutes if using active yeast) ¼ tsp salt 1 tsp brown sugar Mix them well together To dry ingredients, add: 2 tbsp cooking oil 1½ cup of warm water (add gradually) Gently mix them till you finish the water and the dough comes together Kneading part, Add some flour to your work surface if its too sticky, knead for ±5 minutes Then place the kneaded dough into oiled bowl, cover with damp cloth, and let it rest in warm place for 1 hour.
