We have the same sponge oya bring my sponge for me nnem I don't want wahala lol..washing plantain is really important because you don't know the process it has gone. I have plantains but they semi ripe I would have considered making this because am a lover of plantain. That your cutter did a great cut..same size beautifully and perfect. .oya enjoy your self dear

Ma I tried mine today it not crunchy and dry it was soft and I used unripe plantain and if I say let me leave it longer it will turn brown and bitter don't know what went wrong

If the slices are not very thin it won't be crunchy! Try and make them very thin next time

I used sun flower oil, yes I think coconut oil will work as well so long as you use enough of it to deep fry the chips
