Calm and relaxing to escape the rat race and hear Andy talk Scotland. There are many videos on KZbin, but Andy's are beyond special.

I been on the Isle of skye from 2013, 2017 and 2023. Three times. I'll might visit the Isle of skye if I'm in Inverness on winter or summer or autumn holiday with the minibus tour

All good things or those who can wait... And it is always a joyful moment when the iPhone pings a notification announcing a new video from Andy... And again a wonderful one and like most of all I also urge you to bring 'm on...! this one in particular as it brings back memories to my own travels in Glencoe... As a person who was born and raised in the Netherlands I often am horrified by the Dutch link in this massacre and how it reflects our today's world to the bone... Many thanks again Andy for creating the little wonders on KZbin...!

Great to see you posting excellent videos again Andy, nice one! As a MacDonald, I fully agree with your thoughts on the massacre. I was up there earlier this year, a superb viewpoint for Glen Coe and Rannoch Moor, cheers.

It puts me off what is a rather pleasant route simply because they call it the NC500. Why does everything need a label or trendy word these days ? Short attention span society, buzzwords keep them interested. Im not having a go at you calling it in the title, it’s just the fact a collection of roads from one place to another has been given it by the media that spoils it for me. Makes it “popular” which for me reduces the mystery and appeal.

Nice one Andy. Born in Oban and growing up in Lochgilphead and Ardrishaig, this takes me back to fond memories (I moved to Glasgow in my mid 20's). I took a lot for granted back then...a lot, especially the incredible history around Kilmartin.

. My grandmother came from the village of Crieff on the mainland, but sadly it didn't help me understand a word you said mate. I've subscribed to your channel, in the hope that things will improve. Could you or whoever knows what to do, please include the captions, so that that those of us who speak English, can follow along. I visited Isle of Lewis, back in 2018, before the Covid situation happened. Loved it. Found a cheapish croft to buy. First job was to spray insecticide, to get rid of any ticks that existed. Not sure if that was legal or not. Needed to sort the little bug...beggars out. Fast. It was either me or them. I came first. Yes I checked to make sure that there weren't any beekeepers within 4-5 km away. Some of the genuine Islanders I can understand. Anyway thanks for sharing. Atb

This was great , photography, narration & information. Thank you. I’m in Australia , my son in law is from Inverness and his parents retired to the Isle of Harris, so it gave me the opportunity to see it. He misses Scotland , goes back to visit but likes the Oz weather too much to go back permanently.

Enjoyed the video of some on my favourite places. Between Dunure and Ayr is the lovely Bracken Bay with volcanic type cliffs at one end and sandstone at the South. Waverley did extra sails from Ayr in 2023 and always a joy to see her enter harbour.

This is what is called COMMUNISM...when politics are considered above any game and offer the pretence that it cares...but its from the rich only...turnberry is not for the people...if biden had bought the course of course they would have played the open there, because biden represents communism...the destruction of society to ensure the rich elites remain in total power..trump is just a distraction..but the fact you push this..makes you look like a very sad marxist...probably SNP supporter..why bring politics into it...because you have too....i come from ayrshire and despise the commines running all over our once great country

Used to go regularly in the 70s, looks like some changes around the croft in terms of buildings, and of course the lodge is now owned by one of the Middleton family. Used to be unspoilt, not so sure these days.
