I totally laughed at your comment re distance /race proximity.. I follow a lot of U. S. A. ultras and am always blown away by how much land there is to run.. I mean Cocodona!!!! I guess we have nowhere near the expanse but we have 'interesting terrain' 🤣🤣

Through the luck of the draw I was privileged to be in the same tent with Lou and Chris. I saw James on the bus, in camp and the day we started before him and he went flying by me going up a hill. This race is full of wonderful people in and amazing environment. I was one of those back of the packers Lou mentioned. For me this was a complete not compete. Even so this was an great event and an amazing experience. If this event is on your maybe list you need to move it to your to do list.
