Did you guys pay for 5 nights of camping at that campsite? Or do they let you park there while you’re gone?

nothing deadly about it.Granted knife edge will scare the hell out of you but it's not a deadly trail i think that reason that it's not as deadly as it could be is because the BSP rangers have the authority to close the mountain if they believe that it's unsafe to climb

It's gorgeous there & the video is splendid! As a rank beginner & almost a senior, I'd say that 4 mi. would be the maximum I could do, with my existing level of fitness, so anyone hiking 10 mi a day is quite fit, to me!

Omg…………… you guys are amazing. You hiked like a whole huge mountain that thousands of other people have been doing for decades. Omg……so amazing, like are you 2 really humans? You should get an award because you are sooooooo brave and sooooo determined. I am sooooo inspired by your courage.

We never will or can ever build such quality work ever again look up all the world's fairs in the past, and see how well-built they were and able to house up to 300,000 people and yet we're only temporarily built took two years to build to be open for 6 months and closed and the amount of lights and all of that there is amazing it's almost lights up like Vegas

Great video!!!... wasnt long enough!!! I needed more commentary, more views! I would have watched a 4 part 4 hour video of thi strail!!! We did cathedral last summer and i cried at the top... We actually did 95% of cathedral and once we saw the sign for saddle off to the right... i had a mental breakdown and refused to summit the rest of cathedral and we headed right to saddle and then left to hit the summit. i still stand by that decision... it was soooooo much harder than i expected... you got some great shots of the steepness! and gloves were a great idea... we will use them next time... our hands (and knees) were so beat up!

I rode my bike there out of Harrisburg a couple of weeks ago ( January 2024) I camped right by the creek since I was on my bike and arrived close to dark. It was a really pretty day and a lot of people there. I spotted 2 waterfalls flowing. Beautiful place! Plan on taking the family there this weekend!!

If you get a chance to go back to the trail, be sure to ride it through downtown Aurora. It's beautiful old city like Elgin but more built up to the river with a really cool bike-pedestrian bridge at Riverfront Park. Also, with the falls and the kayak run rapids, it seems like the noise from the water attracts the herons and one is able to get closer to them there than usual. Good highlight video.
