Hi im 3 years late but i worked at finnish company called wood jewel wich makes knifes, i can say that this is amazing work and exceeds the quality of any cheap off the shelf puukko, nice work.
@StevesWorkshopSwissАй бұрын
Thank you so much ! Yeah i Know woodjewel is mass producing Puukko or at least on a big production scale. I have to say, for me it's probably easier because I can take my time, I guess ;-) Greetings from Switzerland

Fantastic job! What beautiful countryside at the end. I’m a fan of Scandinavian style knives. I’m half Norwegian and have several Norwegian, Finnish and Swedish knives in my collection. I have also bought Finnish blade blanks and made the hafts and sheaths myself. Thanks 🎸🔪

No way it's better than your creation ;-) Yours is the best one ever. Thanks for creating such a good song, it's always my go to song when I try a guitar, bring me back so much good memories of the Vietcong game and that time of my life. Thank you so much ;-)

Nice job!I bought a Yrjo Puronvarsi blade and the bolster.Then I made the handle using the bolster and leather spacers.Not nearly as nice as yours.

i make all my knives just by putting on the handle.My Puronvarsi 95(95 mm blade)has just leather spacers on it for the handle along with the bolster and end cap.Came out nice!

Very nice work! But, it is a knife, a tool...and your video although well produced was like reading a book only to find out the last chapter was missing. You might think of incorporating some carving tasks at the end of you videos. It is a beautiful blade, but in the end a blade is a tool and it would be appropriated to demonstrate how your tool functions. Thank you.

@Steve’s Workshop, do you anneal the end of the tang on these blades, or does Puronvarsi ship them already annealed so one can easily pean the tang end?
