Fellow 9th gen owner here. my throw trans is making a bad whining noise and im thinking about doing a similar set up. but i saw on the ktuned site that the clutch kit needs a ecu tune. did you tune your car for the light weight fly wheel?

yes! i had to go into hondata and turn off “misfire detection” if i were to do it again i would NOT go with lightweight fly wheel, because here in california it will fail smog check. it will fail because you’re turning off a monitor they check with obd2 and it will show that “misfire detection” is turned off.

When I do this tune with my hondata it has good Pops and bangs but when it’s in neutral just sitting it has a auto rev and jus goes up and back down in rps when I don’t even push down on gas petal.. you know the reasoning for h to is ?

Front license plate most likely a 2nd offense..not a reason to pull you over for...but if they do pull you over for any other reason..they issue the ticket for the front license plate along with the main reason. Atleast thats how it is here in VA.

the makspeed kit is a very well fabricated kit and yes the dump tube is usually ran facing down toward the ground but i wanted to do something different and run it upwards. im doing good just gotta keep moving forward 🫡
