Btw i have an '88 toyota cressida. I know its not, but kinda the box chevy of japan. Needs motor/trans, orig(5m-ge) is still intact- seized; 'reverse' is 'out'. DIRECT FIT motor mounts for 2JZ. Stock tilt moonroof has a 'tude about it. Its been parked at uhaul for far too long, i could use $65/mo elsewhere. Pick it up and its yours. Holla, friend

Wow. The original pad looks like it was poured by a contractor and if it's the same code as here in Chicago, concrete intended for regular foot traffic is usually poured to 4 inches. If it's for vehicles it jumps to 6 inches...and its probably got re-bar buried in there. Rent the skid-steer. You can get the concrete buster and a bucket attachment. Even when you get it chewed up you do NOT wanna lift and move that stuff. Save your back, brother.

Ain't no reason to bust that up.....lots of money and man house to rip it out, then lots of money to add more concrete there that won't be any better. Just dig out the rest of the slab and when the edges of the old one is exposed drill holes into the side and hammer in some rebar about 6-8" in and 6-8" sticking out to tie the old and new together. Squirt a little concrete epoxy in the hole before putting the rebar in the hole. Pour the new concrete all the way up to the old slab so they touch.....they also make an epoxy you can put on the edges of the old concrete that binds it to the new concrete. Get a long 2x4 and float the concrete nice and level with the old concrete. You'll save a ton of time and money.

SPRAYWAY!!! your doing great. I suggest you take dirt away and level it out that way. BOBCAT great idea. If you have to $$$ for slab. Then get rid of old new slab and dig out not add.

Take a breather. Nothing in life is easy. To do it right you need the right tools and mindset. It's just like your painting skills. It took time for you to get the skills that you have. It's the same in all of life. Just don't give up Conquer it and believe in yourself

@SprayWayCustomsКүн бұрын

@smokeintheairbbqКүн бұрын
The edge is thicker because the foot is 6 to 8 inches thick all the way around the slab start in the center it should be 3 inches thick.
@SprayWayCustomsКүн бұрын
Actually the edges was a lot thinner than the middle. Thanks for the comment
