Damn, brings back a lot of memories of back in the day (mid 90's to late 00's) when I would go do the same thing. I haven't quit working on and customizing cars!! I just bought two complete trucks with blown engines to pull parts off to make one really nice truck. Buy them cheap, take what you want/need. Then sell the rest or drag them over the scales to get your money back. The truck is a long term project, probably a year plus. I'm also doing the same with a Jeep Liberty. Found one with a blown motor and missing the front wheels, for some reason. But the body is straight and the interior is clean. Just working on a price atm. Good stuff!! I just found a Cadillac Srx roof for our 77 caprice aero, only 2.5" to spare front n back, was gonna ask Mr. Sprayway if that enough, full frame vehicle so shouldn't be a structural issue.

First of all, I have loved watching your videos for a couple of years now! I have a question for you about a car that I just bought from a friend of mine. It's a 2009 Mitsubishi Spyder in awesome condition, yeah it's gonna need a little love cosmetically because he and his wife never really drove it. My issue that I want to deal with first is that the dash pad is pulling away from the dash. I have tried steaming it with heavy weights. Worked a little, but not nearly enough. Don't want to try gluing it until I can get the shape back (if I even can). Any advice on my situation?
