I follow a lot of true crime cases and I definitely see a pattern. If its a party and alcohol/drugs is involved it's most likely not going to be solved. Sad.

So Jenn hasn’t been charged or indicted or anything at this point, right? There’s been many cases where moms like this should have been put under the jail. But I don’t think I’ve been quite so enraged by a case like this one. I can’t stand the thought of her getting no punishment for what she did. I’m certain she at the very least knew what was going on and turned a blind eye. No mom lets their boyfriend share a bed with their kid like that. My heart breaks for Maddie. To have endured all that and to die at the hands of that sick *** is just an unbearable thought. There’s nothing like your mom betraying you like that. Truly. It’s an awful thing to have the one person who’s supposed to protect you cover up for your abuser.

I used to watch an old show called homicide life on the streets and in one episode one of the detectives said that if a suspect falls asleep in the interrogation room it’s a sure sign of their guilt.
