I am 52 and have been widowed 12 years. About 9 years ago I was dating a sweet guy, he died of a heart attack. About 6 years ago I dated a good man, he died of cancer. This spring I dated an incredible man, he died in a crash. What gives? I am terrified to date because they keep dying!

Almost the whole world lives in toxic masculinity. Modern humans have understood masculinity through the shallow and deceptive lens of the ego

I think the best way to view masculine leadership is acts of service, serving (and for religious people, I think the Bible backs this up.). Men are motivated by taking care of their loved one.

Emotional control is so masculine. A masculine man is built biologically to handle stress. Stress ages women!! Stress builds a man!! A real test of a man is when s*** hits the fan. Yes!! How he handles stress and hard times. I love this video. ❤

This is one type of woman! For sure. But also, I don't feel guilty. But I don't know how to ask for it, what it looks like, or how to trust it - a healthy relationship is "it". What are your thoughts on that?

@@JakeWoodard so he does a lot of therapy and has learned to communicate his emotions… I understand that this is very mature and great for our relationship but his language has become more feminine… he says I feel…. Or how do you feel about this… him talking about his emotions lowers my attention for him but I feel a lot of respect and admiration towards him … I’m not sure why I feel this way and it makes me confused about the whole situation… am I the toxic one here? 😂

@@soudehayanifard9576 I'd love if my husband worked thru this emotional issues and took therapy to heart by implementing what he's learned in real life interactions and scenarios. I say kudos to him for embracing healing! I'm curious why this seems feminine and is a turn off for you?

What would u suggest a wife do when a husband resorts to hitting, punching, biting himself (leaving bruises and marks) when the wife tries to bring up topics to discus and work thru? No matter how gentle, loving, and understanding I try to frame things, he tries to shut down the conversation, then resorts to hurting himself, and then demands hugs. It scares me and he knows it's a childhood trauma for me.... He started to do it shortly after I divulged this to him, saying that I gave him the idea. He is not a fan of therapy, and hasn't had a good track record w it. Idk what to do... He says he does it to punish himself, but he only does it when I'm trying to work thru issues w him, thus we can never work thru anything and the issues remain Any insights or advice? Idk if this is an adhd overwhelm behavior, or if he does it to avoid topics, change, and accountability?

The universe never ceases to amaze me. It blows my mind, in times of pain, of need, of healing when you truly open your heart and ask for help, help will always come. My friend, it is my first time watching one of your videos. But wow was this meaningful for me. Thank you for for being an example of what it means to be vulnerable, for sharing your story and inspiring others to dive deeper into their healing ❤️‍🩹 Today it was me, tomorrow I’m sure it will be somebody else. Your perspective on forgiveness has truly allowed me to start letting, for my good and the good of the collective. We are all worthy of happiness and peace. Thank you for inspiring people to find their way 💖

This whole talk on women surrendering, I feel like more guys now a days really need to listen to how women feel and what they like and don’t. A world where men can respect and honor a woman’s feelings and opinions would be amazing. She would do more and give more after being received. Men, if you want to know more about a woman, talk to women. ❤

Word! ❤ It is then we feminine woman shut down abd withdraw from him..we dont feel safe with him! I have this headbutting with my date. I told him even to man up and be in his masculinity not be my bitch. I gotten so updet i told him to be the leader in the relationship i even left him for 6 months ago for he was this so we headbutted so i became in masculine energy which i hated abd i felt then unsafe too. Stop be bitches men, we need masculine men where we can feel we can have a safw space or we will rather be single!

I used to always feel behind in life. And I felt like I have over functioning for years and doing too much on my own while expecting nothing in return. Now since two years ago I see how enmeshement was at the root of this and I'm learning to prioritize myself now over the family super self. Everything described here is very validating in relation to the difficulties I've had with my mother. I learning to not over empathize and stop self abandonment.
