Lacks substance...those who can't write or play or record original music try to be critical of other 😅😅😅😅 Dude and his wife are weak as hell.

The original off Broadway version is sung more simply and, I think, expresses more honest emotion.

It coild just as easily be the classic racism thing. she may have been white, perhaps in the deep south (bless it) BUT what a great power ballad, the Drifters never dissapoint.

I'm rather shocked at your reaction to Heart. Ann Wilson is one of the greatest singers in history. Her sister Nancy is a virtuoso on the guitar. Saying a SINGLE word against this band is basically a sin, guys.

Hi guys, what I got from this song was him talking to his muse, maybe a real muse goddess or something. The need for her inspiration to write music and play, and her need for him to write what she feels into the world. A co-dependent relationship. Thanks for doing this one guys!

I was born in Hackensack. I grew up not far from the Fountains of Wayne store in Wayne, New Jersey. Chris Collingwood and Adam Schlesinger met as freshman at Williams College in rural Massachusetts two years after I graduated there. So why am I only discovering and falling in love with their music now? Better late than never!

I knew the pianist, Jorge Dalto from Argentina. He had an incredible touch for pieces like this but was incredibly versatile. He unfortunately passed away from cancer at relatively young age in mid 1980’s. Of course George Benson is considered king of jazz guitar today, & has had an incredible career to cross into pop success as well. Your sentiments expressed in your reaction is great! 🙏🏾🎶

That is the voice of the great Tony Williams, lead singer of the Platters. What a fantastic lead tenor. This was one of the great groups of the 1950s which had a major influence on the Motown artists of the 1960s and 70s. A timeless classic.Well done.
