How do you like these, i currently have the flex z's on my ek. There's barely any reviews on the mono sports for any chassis. I gotta say i do like my flex z's. I track/autocross and do the occasional road trip in my ek. I ended up buying some JDM only ohlins for my ek recently for the same reason you bought your mono sports. The jpy is about .0067 to the dollar as of today...

I like them alot. On the softest setting they are more compliant then stock, but still reduce body roll and on firm settings they are ace

I'm not in a county in GA that has emissions inspections. So for me it's a non issue.

I didn't see you 2022 at TF. I drive a 1993 MR2 turbo (yellow.) I just did a 2gr swap in it and I'm definitely going up for TF 2023! The 2AR will feel crazy up there.

Looks like you have your rear Whiteline sway bar at the stiffest setting. I would recommend you actually put it at the softest setting and the front at the stiffest setting of you are going to autocross it. This will help prevent the car from rotating/oversteering.

I know running less sway bar in the rear is supposed to be faster around an auto-x course. I just don't really like it for regular driving.

I want to wait until I at least do a autox to give a full review on how they handle. But I've been driving around on full soft. The ride is very nice and smooth they dampen bumps well while still limiting body roll.

If you haven't tried a solo event I recommend at least trying it. It's not as boring as you think. If you do SCCA you can enter in the XB (Extreme Street Lightweight) class and be competitive with that amount of power. I'm usually at every SCCA Solo event for Atlanta Region if you want to meet up. It starts back up in March.

Yeah. I used to attend ATL events when my car was running. Don't get me wrong driving through cones is fun. It's the waiting to run after cones in the heat that kills the fun for me.

If you dimple the passenger side rear brace you can get it around the crank pulley. The driver side does need to be fabricated.

Yeah, I all honestly if I had done some better planning and all the parts on hand. I think it could be done over a 4 day weekend. It took me about 3 months working a few hours here and there. But I did spend a good 2-3 weeks waiting for parts to show up.

It's possible, but I think you would need to cut the fire wall and make space for it. It wouldn't be terribly difficult with services like sendcutsend.

Its the OEM Hardtop from Toyota. I sourced it from the UK as it was never for sale in North America
