Yeah, I all honestly if I had done some better planning and all the parts on hand. I think it could be done over a 4 day weekend. It took me about 3 months working a few hours here and there. But I did spend a good 2-3 weeks waiting for parts to show up.

I've pretty much bought everything except for fluids. Total cost was right around $5000.

I won the auction for $2900 and then about another $1200 in fees.

You think leaving stock headers on the engine with get in the way of the swap ? I live in California looking for bar smog legal swap that why.

It's possible, but I think you would need to cut the fire wall and make space for it. It wouldn't be terribly difficult with services like sendcutsend.

Marc has talked about cali legality with the 2AR swap. He actually thinks it would be very easy to pass BAR. Shoot him an email if you're serious about it!
