Sounds like there’s some pad in there…no just piano and reverb?

You're right. The patch is a blend of the Pearl Upright and some pads.

Thanks Noah, If you don't mind can you tell why you need all 4 output for the nord stage 4?
@NoahWonderКүн бұрын
Great question. By using all four outputs of your Nord Stage you can separate the different sounds you’ve built the patch with into different outputs. For instance, you can route the piano sound through output 1-2 and your synth pads through output 3-4. This allows the sound guy to adjust and mix each sound independently, ensuring a better overall mix for the room. Even if your blended sound matches your preference, it might not sound as good in the live setting. With that said, of course there might be situations where it is preferable to use only 2 outputs for simplicity or something else :)

Hey Noah! I’ve commented here before as a different name, but I really enjoy your videos, I play quite a bit of chords and am playing at my first youth conference next week and I am really really nervous, I love the piano and want to move out of just chords and some melody to full scale insane, but I feel kinda stuck it’s hard doing online even tho pianote is fantastic, with that being said I’m looking to buy a new keyboard that can resonate that “worship” sound, pad and synth, any suggestions without breaking the bank too hard? Any advice on playing at the conference? Thank you so much Noah God bless you brother!

Thanks for tuning in. I'm glad to hear you like my videos, many thanks! Great question. I mainly use Nord Keyboards (which I know it pretty expensive) and I'm not very familiar with many other keyboards, so I'm probably not the right person to recommend a more budget friendly keyboards, unfortunately. Maybe it will be a good idea to look into a midi-keyboard + software setup. I wish you all the best! God bless you

When you play the phrase a 2nd time, play A E on left hand like you did but create a melody by playing A F on left hand over the C major. It’s a beautiful feel. Adds some color.

Can you not add the Piano 2 layer to the morph on the wheel so it goes down with your mod wheel move? (Not a Nord owner but thought you could add layer volume to morphs)
@NoahWonder7 күн бұрын
Sure, that would be possible. I just wanted to be able to adjust the 2 piano layers and the strings independently, which is why I’ve not mapped both parameters to the mod wheel. But you’re right, almost everything can be mapped to the mod wheel actually.

Hi, beautiful chords mate. I plan to buy a big sky for my nord 5. How did you hookup your's to the piano? Greetings
@NoahWonder10 күн бұрын
Many thanks. Great plan, the BigSky is such a good pedal! I'm running the output of the Nord into the input of the BigSky. And then the output of the BigSky to my audio interface.

@vorco81204 күн бұрын
You could use the Key•Largo by Radial Engineering which has three stereo channels plus a USB channel for complete audio output control. You can essentially put Main Outputs 1+2 on Stereo Channel 1 and then the Sub Outputs onto Stereo Channel 2. Hopefully this helps.

Have you ever decided to make patches on the Nord to make it sound like different synths? For example like some type of Moog?

I haven’t really thought about doing that before, but it’s an interesting idea!

Hey! I do I need extra space in my Nord piano 5 to download all your sounds?
@NoahWonder13 күн бұрын
Great question. You will need 20 empty programs for this collection. Also, the collection comes with some custom-sampled pads, so you might have to delete a couple of samples on your Nord to make room for that. Lastly, when buying the collection, you will receive a bundle file which means you will achieve all the exact same sounds as I use and have built the patches with - including the piano sounds. I've tested all the piano sounds Nord Keyboards offers and included the pianos I think sounds the best and all in the highest available format (L or XL). Because of that, you might have to delete a couple of your piano sounds to make room for the piano sounds included in the collection. With that said, if you prefer using the piano sounds you've already loaded into your Nord, that is also possible. If you want that, please get in touch with me at [email protected] and I'll love to help you with that.

Which would you choose between Bluesky/big sky/cloudburst? For both piano/guitars
@NoahWonder13 күн бұрын
Great question. The BigSky surely comes with most reverbs and features and will probably always be one of my go to reverb pedals. But if you don't need all these functions and reverbs, the blueSky or Cloudburst are great choices. I really love the ambient textures you can achieve with the Cloudburst and its simple controls, which is why I also love this pedal. The bluesky is great if you just need a solid pedal for room/plate/spring reverbs.
