Hi there, yes, it's possible to recreate a fairly similar patch with the Nord Piano 5. My Nord Piano 5: Worship Patches Collection comes with the Sunday Pad which is one of the pads the Stage 4 patch was built with. bought the patches a few days ago and the sound is phenomenal! is there any tutorial video which explains the layering of the synth sounds, the piano sounds and what some of the faders are doing?

Thank you so much! I haven’t created a tutorial video on this yet, but I'll keep it in mind for future content. To give you a quick overview of the faders: most patches in this collection feature a piano sound alongside a blend of three synth sounds. You can adjust the volume of each synth sound using the three faders in the synth section, allowing you to customize the blend. For the piano section, the faders lets you easily control the volume of the piano sounds. Additionally, I've set up most patches with the mod wheel to control the filter, and in some cases, the volume of the pads. A control pedal can also be used if that’s your preference. @@NoahWonder thanks for the reply. we would love to see a tutorial. would make it way easier for us, to teach the people :) two more questions on my side: first - on the piano section, there are two faders - one for A and one for B. Did you program them as different pianos, which you can switch during a song? second: in the synth section with the three synths blendes, it's kinda hard to figure out, how to adjust the volume in general. is one of the pads the "main" sound which can adjust the volume and the other two of them are modified versions who give the sound some texture or how did you do it?

@zuckerkowski Great questions. No, I’ve not program the patches with a specific piano sound for layer B, but it’s a good way to be able to quickly pull in another / a slightly changed piano sound - and it’s also very simple to setup. To do this, go to the layer B in the pianos section and select your second piano sound (maybe a soft piano for quiet moments or a bright piano to better cut through the mix). You can now control which piano sound (or both if you want) you play with by adjusting the faders. Remember the save your changes to the patch, if you want to keep it :) For your second question, first keep in mind I’ve built most patches with the mod wheel assigned to control the cut-off of the pads. By adjusting the mod wheel you will be able to change the dynamics of the pads. Mostly when I play live I’m not making many adjustments to the blend of the pads, so I’m not touching the synth faders that much. If you do want to change the volume of the pads, you can do that with the faders, and yes, at first glance it can be hard to tell what to adjust. I’ll recommend you using the ‘solo’ function to hear the individual synth layers and from that you should be able to adjust the volume of the different sounds to your preferred blend. If you just want to lower the volume in general, you can dial down all the faders. I hope this all makes sense. Let me know, I will love to help.

Hi there, this is fairly simple to fix and I would love to help you. The bundle file contains all the piano sounds I’ve built the patches with. I’ve tested all the piano sounds Nord Keyboards offers and included the best of them in the highest format (L or XL) in the collection. I’ve done this to help you achieve the best sounding pianos without having the test all of them. I've described this issue and how to deal with it on page two in the collection file. Many thanks. You might have to delete some of your pianos and samples to make room for the piano sounds and samples included in the collection. I’ve included all the piano sounds I like the most in the highest available format (L or XL). From factory Nord Keyboards does not only include piano sounds in the highest format. With that said, if you prefer having the collection, but use your own piano sounds, this will also be an option. If interested get in touch with me after the purchase and I’ll help you with that. A now discontinued Motif makes a great piano with a pad and costs a lot less. People don't pay me to have a Nord Stage 4 that costs $5700. On the contrary, they pay me for playing very well, but the faithful pay for the church to have one. I believe that this Nord line has a specific audience, churches with a lot of money and faithful and not for us, mere mortals, common and talented musicians. Um Motif já descontinuado, faz muito bem um piano com pad e custa bem menos. As pessoas não me pagam para ter um nord stage 4 que custa $ 5700. Pelo contrário, me pagam por tocar muito bem, mas os fiéis pagam para a igreja ter um. Acredito que essa linha nord tem um público específico, as igrejas com bastante dinheiro e fiéis e não para nós, meros mortais, músicos comuns e talentosos.
