Hey, would you think this tent would have enough room for a guy that's 5 foot 11? Using a Extra wide thermarest pad? Great tips btw those peg claws look brilliant

Just got one. Try it out at 10º celsius on the top of the peak "la maroma" spain with lot of winds. Very warm and confortable. I also got the same brand sleeping bag 0ºc but its to hot for spring-summer weather.

I bought the S700 power station based on this review. Ran my resmed airsense 10 cpap for 4 nights without recharging.(Over 30 hours). Still had battery left.

great trip lads. Wife and I did that one. To your point the Eco Cafe was a bit bizarre but we found the owners to be very nice and they had a great food. Hope you enjoyed yourself. We are heading back this summer to do the Cotswold Trail and try not to piss too many Englanders off by being annoying americans.

I've done the bungee mod on the Pro version for the groundsheet and the bathtub - 30cm of bungee for the groundsheet/footprint, and 20cm for the bathtub. It keeps the Bathtub much more upright and consistent & easier to pitch if you're "rubbish"!. Not sure if 30 & 20 cm would be right for the normal version - the footprint might be the same size as the bathtub for the normal Lanshan 2

Hi there, Thanks for watching and getting touch I’m fairly sure it was at least 3mm, might have been 4mm. If you make the loops short enough you’ll get some tension on there which will stop it flapping Also wrap around the pole a couple of times will help too

I like both. I still have the Akto and the Soulo. Both have different use cases, The Alto is better for a long carry and the Soulo if the weather is looking a bit 'iffy'. both very decent tents.

They’re decent enough for the money, I paid less than £100 when I bought mine. You don’t have to do the mods. I just enjoy messing and experimenting. Each to their own . Thanks for watching and commenting chap. 💪💪

@@ashropshirelad The doors and vestibules face the same direction, which is useless for cooking in the driving wind and rain... The hood leaks water down into the vestubules.. it's a terrible design

You can cook in those vestibules no problem. The wind only blows one way, you just open the opposite door. And to be fair, mine never leaked . For the money they are decent. I’ve got a Hilleberg and yes as you’d expect that is superior but I still rate the Lanshan .

Hi Vinnie, I think mine are the medium, they only did the one size when I bought them. I belive they do a large now. In all honesty though I dont really rate them, I'd get two delta pegs for the main lines if I were you and some longer pegs for the rest.

Ah, was that the pub you stayed at? The Poacher? We rang ahead to get in there and they had a festival on and had no availability! or was it in the bit we snipped off???

@@ashropshirelad Afraid not. The pubs along the Trail don't seem that keen on campers. The Bickerton Hills are the Best spot for a wild camp. Ambling Trails channel found a good location. I'm going up that way again soon so if I find anywhere will let you know. That said you've only got a few miles to go!

Well!! What an adventure! Good decision to call it off, in the end. Answer this, please: if you're camping and a powerful thunderstorm comes right overhead, is it wisest to stay in your tent or get out and find shelter somewhere close by? REALLY enjoyed your trip.
