All I want for herald is for people to just be able to look at you and see you are an avatar so whenever you beat a boss they will say “witless avatar… why covet destined death.”

I really like the way John said the reason why he wanted people with live service experience was so they could do good updates quickly. He definitely could’ve worded it better but the way he said it makes me lean towards Hytale NOT being f2p, which is honestly the best direction the game can go.

I remember when i first saw the trailer of Hytale, it looked so fun, i was hyped and wanted to play it RIGHT NOW. That was almost 10 years ago, game is never coming out

so is Hytale a MMORPG but you can make a solo word? or a Singlerplayer game but you can join Server to play it multiplayer?

i mean the second they got bought out thry scraped the entire java game and started remaking it in C++ for better portabiluty and performance. They also probably wirk realy hard at the game stability and performance, they mentioned that the game will have built in moding support, that means large chunks if game code have to be modular and replacable by design - the entire game has to acomodate 3rd party code right out of the box while not breaking and allowing players to actually tweak the game functionality beyond a simple texturepack..

This game has been in development for over 10 years and couldn't even release a beta even when RIOT even got into this too. These ppl should just sell the game and call it quits because they fucked up

Just release it and update from then on. If they continue "perfecting" the game, it would never release. Instead, take notes from the community feedback when releasing the first version and fix the game's flaw while moving forward.

This should be a paid game like minecraft, i feel like it being a frer to play to be abit of a concern, like what riot is doing rn now, i want it to be like minecraft😊

Instead of giving players the wonderful game they've been wanting for years, they just screw around with what a great game they're "making". I don't believe this game will ever be released. And besides, there are a lot of Minecraft clones today, maybe even better than Hytale. MC mods have changed the original game beyond recognition, we don't need Hytale anymore, IMHO.
