Hi, i really love this video, it was very informative. I am now a new subscriber to your channel. If you don't mind, could you tell me what parts of Atlanta are best and safe to move to? My mother and myself really want to move to ATL but hear so much bad stuff on the news, but the reality is... Not all parts are bad. I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions 🙏 Thank you

Hi Kristen, Your hair looks beautiful. I've been using Mizani butter blend relaxers on my hair for the last 2 years and love the results as others have stated. My previous stylist used Design Essentials , I think I like Mizani more but of course if you have a great Stylist whom you trust with your hair that's "Golden".

What happens if you don't have neutralized shampoo?
@camielsmith38212 ай бұрын
Then the chemical will still be active on the scalp and once the sun hits your head it's going to have a burning stinging feeling 😂 so you have to use neutralizer shampoo

Question, did you comb through your hair to smooth the roots while the relaxer is in it?

Since I went back to relaxed hair about 2 and 1/2 years ago. I’ve started with Affirm and switch beauticians about 8 months ago and she uses Mizani. At this point my hair feels softer with Mizani but that could be because the new beautician use different products after relaxer treatments. I love both relaxers. I switched beauticians because my first beautician irons temperature was way too hot and I would have to constantly ask her to turn them down. Your hair is beautiful ❤

Ive contemplated on rather to transition back to the creamy crack BUT something is stopping me. I had long relax hair as a child and short damaged relaxed her as a teen overprocessing and dying my hair. Ive also had Long healthy natural hair and short transition hair. Not going to lie the fibrosis and uterine cancer does scare me because My mother who has relaxed her whole life had softball size fibrosis and her stomach always looked pregnant and cause her a few problems BUT NO ONE can say for certain relaxer caused them

Hello! How often do you wash your hair?

Your hair turned out beautifully! I have had both mizzani butter blend and Affirm relaxers. It's the technique a stylist uses which determine my results. Both products seem to work for me. I noticed you stated you had your ends trimmed 2 weeks ago. Did you have them trimmed again during that service? If not when are you scheduled to trim again. The ends looked great and cut was on point sis!!😃❤

Girl, same. I was over self relaxing, so I started going back to the salon about a year ago. My stylist uses mizani butterblends, and I love it. When I self relaxed I used the mizani no lye sensitive, so she decided to use the butterblends lye version. I was getting the olaplex service as well, but my stylist convinced me to try keratin because it's pretty much the same benefits, plus it allows my semi permanent color to last longer. I get a quick keratin, though, and it only lasts 3-4 months. I've only had one service, but I noticed a major difference in my color lasting. I finally go this week after an unintentional 6 month stretch. Your hair turned out beautifully well. Do you think you're gonna stick with mizani? I know people love the affirm system. Loved the video. 💜

That’s good to know. I need to learn more about Keratin treatments! I do like the result with Mizani. I’m trying not to be biased but I would prefer the Affirm system.

How do you moisturize when your hair is straightened❔

When you deep condition well you don't have to moisturize again until your next wash day... a light oil every other day should be enough

I've had that middle shorter and it was due to pony tails... Somehow it appears that's my weakest area. When I went natural once that area filled back in...I'm back relaxed and noticed it because I was doing a lot of pony tails ...keep up the good job.

@kristenstikes hi! Have you heard of phytospecific relaxers? Many relaxed women have, just wondering what your thoughts are on it? I have a mini K-18 and the shampoo which is clarifying but is it also chelating? Hmm, not sure, could use some tips (which you're just kind enough to share information as a creator, not medical or healthcare advice). I await your thoughtful reply.

Natural hair does not equal healthy hair Relaxed hair does not equal unhealthy hair I’ve seen some horrid naturals that swore up and down their hair was healthy simply because it’s natural and they don’t take care of it.

Other than wigs, what are other good protective styles? I love box braids I just want to conquer the takedown process. I’m not sure if it’s because my Braider uses product to make it look “sleek” or what
