Thank you, Poppy really has integrated her into the family like she was always here. When she first arrived I was a little worried Otto was bullying her but she pulls the same stuff and dishes it out just as much as she takes it now. I love their tail wags especially when they do it in unison, it’s too cute!

I said Otto in shock even tho I shouldn’t be surprised anymore. When it comes to pulled pork or really any BBQ Otto is on his A game. They got quite a bit of pulled pork since I had it for lunch two days in a row and tonight they got tons of burger which they loved. Otto put his feet on the counter for the first time which was pretty naughty but it was really tasty.

It was a special request since our last doggie, a springer, was bred and docked by a family friend who said he would never do it again because it traumatized him so much so we made sure Poppy and Otto’s breeder would leave them undocked. I’m not hunting with them or anything so there isn’t much good reason for it besides aesthetics and personally I love their tails especially when they wag in unison. It can create some interesting thumping whether on furniture or my legs or against the others tail which is also cute although it can hurt a bit when they are extra excited.

He is the better shaker at least for now. I only ignored him because he got the first piece of pork for a firm handshake and he was told how good of a boy he is then but when trying to take his sisters pork even when he already got his feels a bit naughty. He doesn’t quite understand sharing is caring and would rather bulldoze over Poppy as she does her trick routine and gets her treat. You are right I should congratulate him on his handshakes even if it’s not his turn for the reward that time.

They both got 2 pieces. Otto insists on being first but polite and patient Poppy is willing to wait for Otto to get his. She still is very quick if the treat gets knocked out of my hand or I toss it she rushes and often beats Otto to it.

I believe it’s intermediate but that’s just cause that is what would fit best in that little cove thing. Funny enough sometimes they will both get in together when the door is left open. Thank you, they are the best.
