I'm a German living in Greece and raised my children using Waschlappen. They're great for gently exfoliating the skin without chemicals and expensive skincare stuff. My oldest moved out to study and it was very difficult to find Waschlappen here in Greece for her new household...

I don't mean to offend Germans and don't know if they also eat other things but this food is quite unconceivable even to eat and on normal days, to my very personal taste

I'm afraid of spiders as soon as they move. So a gecko getting rid of spiders would be very welcome. You are not spoiled. These geckos are freaking loud. Have you everbeen to a German pond in May: frogs and toads give a concert then. Constantly, even at night.

Very common in The Netherlands. Use it on a daily basis and much prefer it to a flanel, which my British husband uses. My mother in law once spotted washmitts at their local Lidl, she immediately thought of me and bought some. Now I use those whenever we visit them (we live in NL, they are in the UK).

It's so mean. You find a fruit you love and you're so excited, and then you bite into it expecting it to taste like it should, and the flavor is in greyscale.
