@@phytricking7411 I would refer you to the pinned comment in this case, in my experience that mostly only happens from a mismatch of the ARCropolis/skyline and smash version, I also recommend doing the recommended method instead of the alternative one.

Also like to add that yes this does work for the steamdeck I have been using the mods on my steamdeck!

@@BurnOutVictim7347 try if other mods like skin mods are working, double check if you are using all listed dependencies, if both are the case, it could be that the mod you are trying to use just broke with the newest update

Theoretically, yes, but I personally had issues with setting them up too sometimes. From my experience, if it doesn't work, it is just the mod not matching with the ARCropolis version.

@@MoisesDavidRojasMillan the tutorial is pretty much interchangeable with any emulator that supports ARCropolis, after the yuzu lawsuit there have been alot of emulators made to replace yuzu with, a popular one would be suyu currently, uzuy sounds like one of thoose too, I recommend trying the recommended method video instead though.

@Timerin In that case, I would have to see, since I have an error that I followed all the steps to the letter but when loading the smash it stays loading forever for some reason, and I have no idea why, I have version 13.0. 2 (if I put 13.0.3 the smash crashes) with its dlc and the uzuy I have downloaded it updated

@@MoisesDavidRojasMillan I didn't know of that change as I stopped smash modding almost over a year ago already, It seems like the original guide from miguel for some reason got put on private. I'm not an expert here, and just used my experience to help others fix their problems, I guess the best you can do is try to downgrade your game and acropolis to try running an older version where skyline still is compatible I'm sorry that I can't provide more guidance than that, as the last time I tried modding (for a video) was around 3-4 months ago, but i just never found time to edit it thanks to University. Last time I tried was using 13.0.2 v.4.0.2 of Acropolis that got released on Aug 15, 2023. And still the same Skyline beta release that is currently there. If you can't get it to work with that, then I'm afraid I don't know how to help you further.

I may have figured it out, I just need to find where to get the 13.0.3 update

@@Snow-zv9ps exactly, it's done by renaming, if I remember right there were two files that you need to rename for it to change in game, one handling the character selection sprite. the other handling the in game model. it counts from c00 for slot 1 until c07 for the last slot. it's been long since I last did it, so expirement and you will probably make it! it is possible to use multiple skins on one character by specifically making sure they are spread on the different numbers!

Do you have the newest smash update already installed (13.0.3) if not, that's most likely the reason why

@@TimerinI don’t, I’m using 13.0.2, but I’ve also made sure to use the versions of ARCropolis that correspond with this version

it in fact does (already tested) suyu is a project meant to replace yuzu when the dmca came around, you are free to do the same steps in suyu as in this tutorial, it's pretty much the same

@FrixyTVd well, that means that you didn't use yuzu or a yuzu port, because it needs to have actual support build in for modding, ryujinx is a known good alternative, and also yuzu based ports.

@@SharkBait-07 depending on your pc specs, a first time load really shouldn't take longer then 10 minutes though, if you consider your pc good, then I would start with looking into the pinned comment on a starting time over 5 minutes, most of the times it is a mismatch of smash version and acropolis or old ultimate mod manager files making problems

last month came out the newest smash ultimate update, bringing it from 13.0.2 to 13.0.3 meaning you need to update it to the newest version to be able to use it (alternativly use a older version of arcropolis but i wouldn't recommend it if you have a way to get the newest smash ultimate version)

@@Tikia888 you wanna add the update files to your nand, you do that by going to file on the top left corner, and then press on add to nand, and choose the file you wand to add to the nand, after it's done loading you should see the version pop up on smash ultimate

@@luigilollol2174 up to 3 minutes is usual but depending on your hardware it can be longer, if you have an infinite loading screen you don't have the up to date smash version, currently 13.0.2 or something

Literally the same way as any other mod, putting the dependencies to the other dependencies as mentioned for the Link ascension mod, and the mods into the mod folder, Jugeeya's training mod is a mod pack, so it's just a collection of specific mods and dependencies, it's not that complicated, and I'm sure you will be able to handle it. And as yuzu emulates the file registry of a real Nintendo Switch, you can literally use a normal installation tutorial for the mod for your yuzu

I'm not an expert when it comes to using ARCropolis as a mod manager, but I think it may be because of the newest version of Smash interfering with it potentially. Generally speaking as long as you don't need to specifically configure the mods through that menu, it should be fine though, as the mods in general are still working

@@Timerin i don't think it's the update, i did change from firmware 17.0.1 to 18.0.0 so maybe that's the issue

@@sutykq2606 I'm unsure if the firmware update removes the usability to a extend, but generally speaking normal switch users should have that problem too in that case

@@Jadi_Bravo personally I didn't dare to use the log folder, generally speaking trial and error will always work tho, dragging mods in and out to see what works and what doesn't. you can also go into the mods folder and see if something tries to write on the same character etc, because that is 100% a conflict

smashline is a mod dependencie and only needed if a mod says so itself, if mentioned you directly should have a link on the gamebanana page of the mod itself, some mods use different smashline version that's why that's important

try the recommended tutorial instead, sometimes the alternate method provides problems.

@@diogoenriconolli9679 usally the acropolis folder not appearing is a result of one of many things, either, a mismatch between the smash and acropolis versions (make sure to be up to date on your Smash Update), Rest files from stuff like ultimate mod manager, missing dependencies, or using an emulator without Acropolis support, make sure your emulator does have acropolis support (incase you use an older version of yuzu or "offbrand yuzu") alternatively, give a try with ryujinx, the original guide is linked in the description as a game banana link, and it has a alternative version for the ryujinx emulator.

@@aytob.5445 are they using custom slots? or just override existing characters? if it is custom slots (I'm not too experienced with the) there should still be some kind of ID or similar attached to them, if both of theirs match it could be the reason why only one of both can be shown

@@Timerin when using them one at a time, they both are their own characters. I only know that the goku one was originally a terry replacement, but i am using a newer version of that mod where he has his own slot right next to terry. I tried looking into the foulders but i couldnt see anything that looked like i could change some numbers for it to work.

@@aytob.5445 maybe try to generally look for that problem on Google or especially reddit is good for thoose kind of problems, the way your yuzu is setup is to imitate the way the switch stores it, so the fix for the switch should work in yuzu too, and I will just say, you are probably not alone with that problem, good luck.
