Hey Everyone, Please Like this to make it more visible. If you are modding using Yuzu, The new update of ARCropolis no longer works with the current updated Yuzu version. Basically, you Either need to go back and reinstall both Yuzu amd Arcropolis to a previous version, or wait for the developers of ARCropolis to address the issue. Additionally, you would also need to be sure to download the newest 13.0.2 update for smash (and from what I can see it's pretty hard to find, I've yet to find one myself). but I believe once I do it may fix the issue.

A lot of people can’t get the acropolis folder, please upvote for helping others: Make sure SDMC is enabled by right clicking on smash and going into properties. Make sure you are on the recent version of smash bros AND yuzu (To check if you have the right version of smash, make sure you have the update file if you don’t. It’s 13.0.1. Click once on Smash in Yuzu, then go to file. Click install files to NAND. And then pick the update. You can also do this with DLC!) This is what I had to do.

for anyone in the future - the legacy_discovery file is just a blank file. to create it yourself, you can create legacy_discovery.txt and then just delete the .txt

for that you also need to activate the viewability of the extension names, as it is not on by default, I found it easier to just link it as a file, and incase you say the link is broken, only the alternative link is broken right now. the original still works

last month came out the newest smash ultimate update, bringing it from 13.0.2 to 13.0.3 meaning you need to update it to the newest version to be able to use it (alternativly use a older version of arcropolis but i wouldn't recommend it if you have a way to get the newest smash ultimate version)

@@Tikia888 you wanna add the update files to your nand, you do that by going to file on the top left corner, and then press on add to nand, and choose the file you wand to add to the nand, after it's done loading you should see the version pop up on smash ultimate

Theres a new version of the game, the version 13.0.2, this means the newest arcropolis won't work so you should download an older version if you're on 13.0.1

it worked (with yuzu 1717 and smash 13.0.2) but then it just stopped working, the game loads fine but the mods simply are not showing. Tried de- and activating the smdc and going back to version 13.0.1 and nothing worked.

As someone who used mods in Smash on Yuzu before the recent update, I’m gonna need a tutorial on how to uninstall the mods and fresh install the newly updated version for the new Smash update. I was using Yuzu EA 4002 with the previous version just fine, then I got Yuzu EA 4176 just before it was taken down. And I’ve yet to update Smash because of issues with mods, though I have the new update file on my computer if needed, but future mods need the new version and I hope someone mods in Rocko from Rocko’s Modern Life.

that's because your version of yuzu is bricking your 13.0.1 smash update, same thing happens to me. so either update your smash (the move set mods won't work but the skin mods still do) or use a older version of yuzu

This worked great with Yuzu EA version 4176 and firmware 17.0.1. You will also need Ultimate 13.0.2 update patch. I have about 85 mods installed and have not had any issues.

Tried with the latest version 13.02, it works, remember to remove special characters and space in the folder name of your mod, or it won't work.

​@@littlecow27 a reason that it could make problems is the version of smashline not matching with the version of your smash, the newest smash version is 13.0.2, needing smashline 2: github.com/HDR-Development/smashline if you are on smash version 13.0.1 or below you need smashline 1: github.com/blu-dev/smashline (for suyu most optimal would be using smash version 13.0.2 with smashline 2) (before this i didn't even realise a new one existed for the newest smash as i didn't play it myself anymore, updated it in the description too)

@@Jadi_Bravo personally I didn't dare to use the log folder, generally speaking trial and error will always work tho, dragging mods in and out to see what works and what doesn't. you can also go into the mods folder and see if something tries to write on the same character etc, because that is 100% a conflict

when using alot of mods, the character selection being laggy can be normal, but lags ingame shouldn't happen, after all shaders got compiled (you can see it on the bottom left) if it lags with all shaders compiled, then it can depend on multiple factors

I've read online that the culprit could be the Nro. files because they don't have shaders or something like that, but I don't know exactly how that works. What do you suggest? online is not supposed to work, you can only play with others that have installed the same mods by installing the hdr in the original guide in the description. also when it comes to playing with friends, parsec works

I'm not an expert when it comes to using ARCropolis as a mod manager, but I think it may be because of the newest version of Smash interfering with it potentially. Generally speaking as long as you don't need to specifically configure the mods through that menu, it should be fine though, as the mods in general are still working

I think it does, but I personally wasn't able to set it up, could be I just did it wrong in general though. so trial and error, following a tutorial meant for switch will work for you too as yuzus folder structure is meant to emulate the one of a switch, especially since SDMC emulates the sd card slot

What problems does the previous method have? Does it make some mods not work correctly? I had issues running some moveset mods (Old Bear New Tricks Side B was broken, alucard and sonic drop dash mods not working at all) and I had some other stuff not work (mods that change link's down b model don't change it), does this method fix issues like that or no?

sometimes it will fix the issue, but mostly problems come from new updates of acropolis and in that case the mod wouldn't work on a switch either, it depends, and sometimes it is hard to find out

generally speaking, this could be caused by 2 things that i can think of right now, either reset yuzu shader cache (just google how) or it is a problem that generally exists for the mod, and a soloution that you would use on the switch would work in yuzu too

Literally the same way as any other mod, putting the dependencies to the other dependencies as mentioned for the Link ascension mod, and the mods into the mod folder, Jugeeya's training mod is a mod pack, so it's just a collection of specific mods and dependencies, it's not that complicated, and I'm sure you will be able to handle it. And as yuzu emulates the file registry of a real Nintendo Switch, you can literally use a normal installation tutorial for the mod for your yuzu

when it comes to emulation, on a laptop it can work too, as long as it can handle smash without mods too, on android/ios devices it won't work, and in case of a switch, if your switch is moddable, then of course you can do it on your switch too.
