I’ve taken mine apart several times so far but after shooting today after start to reassemble it, it’s sticking and won’t come back off either. The lever is lowered all the way down but it won’t go passed far enough for the slide catch to engage. Any other tips?

Had an ar cerakoted odg . Ugliest shade of green I ever seen. Holding up great however it doesn’t look factory. Looks like a good spray can job. It was done right but the look and gloss of it scream cheap. Gonna go with color anodizing next time

There are three reasons this happens and you didn't cover the third. That is when the slide is removed without the trigger released first by pulling it before removal.

A couple years ago i got my second Garand from the CMP (this one was a rack grade) I've taken it to the teacher a couple of times but i funny always clean my guns afterwards. Today i disassembled it and the spring had rust all over it. I didn't think i got it all out of the op rod but it's MUCH better than it was and i put a coat of oil on the spring. Hopefully that will break up and clean out the rest of it after another range trip or two.

I'm having problems get my slide off the take down lever will not engage any help would be much appreciated.

When I put the gun back together and pull the trigger it hits a wall and doesn't go through is it supposed to do that until I fire a live round or is there something really wrong?

i used this to reassemble my p365xl but now the takedown lever wont go back down for disassembly

Hard too see how parts are assembled especially with the black mat. Need too slow down and get good light contrast for demonstration of parts assembly.

Good video. Just one thing... The entire trigger assembly- I think it was completely skipped.

With as many people as there are having this problem with the Sig P365, why doesn't Sig Sauer either: 1) put out a video themselves on trouble shooting, or 2) redesign the damm thing so that people don't have thIs problem in the first place?

Great vid. I'm a manual reader before I touch anything. Unfortunately I thought the manual ended after disassembly - DOH. Rack slide all the way back, engage the slide catch lever, and voilla! Takedown lever up!!

What is the recommended time to disassemble and clean the barrel? Is it like three trips to the range or like once a month kind of thing? Depending on how many rounds you shoot per range visit. I think I only shoot around 60 rounds per visit since the ammo is kind of hard to find around me.

I also just discovered that if you install an adjustable trigger and attempt to remove all the take up from the trigger this will cause the safety to engage early making it impossible to reinstall the slide

I have a question. How do you clean the inside of the recoil Spring? When it's compressed cause I know stuff gets built up. And Or is that possible, or can you explain how to go about that?

Decided to try to clean and disassemble and when I went to reassemble it got stuck and I can't undo it now it is literally stuck and I don't know how to unstick it

Do you run a patch with oil when finished? Isn't it a steel barrel that needs a thin film of oil to keep it from rusting?
