I’ve had good luck with some Temu water shoes, very inexpensive & not bad, they dry quick.

How does this kayak compare against the Topwater 12'? Which one paddles creeks better?

You can add the jk underseat pouch holds 4-3700's and get you some leashes and you can attach to 4-3600 stowaways in the factory molded places on each side of the seat and add the anchor wizard easily no drilling just run it through the molded handle

Thanks for the review I’m looking for a used one. A throw and go. I have a Jackson Knarr with a bow mount motorgide I love it but only for bigger water, I want one for creek and small river fishing

Watched your vid on adding the 180 to your bite. I’d be curious to see how you attached the plate to the hull. I guess it’s semi permanent? And then the mount to the plate.

John-As for Water coming up through the holes, in the bottom of the Kayak, that would be due to a type of Water-Air mix Compression. It's Water being forced up through the holes, due to increased pressure from whatever ripples and pressure, that are present.

We bought 2 of the original Bites in 2019. It’s a great open floor kayak. In later years the difference between the angler and rec version was the rod holders and an upgraded seat.

I bought 10 very high end rods & reels all with their own specific uses, nothing lasts forever but it will be damn close if you invest the money, which will save you money in the long run, as long as as my rods aren’t warped, bent or broken, I will not be buying anything. Now as far as lures are concerned 😅 I have a problem…

My addiction is casting reels. I have 151 reels and paid about $21,000. They are not super expensive models, and most were bought used. My faves are my Shimano Antares AR lefty and my Chronarch 101D7. I dont have nearly as many rods, but my fav is my Loomis NRX 802c and also my Shimano Cumara 6'9" MH. Don't tell my wife haha!
@HHH-nv9xb6 күн бұрын
You might want to build expertise in some of those reels. There are a lot of different kinds of reels out there. Personally, I like to build expertise on vintage reels focusing on Mitchell open face spinning reels, Abu Garcia Ambassadeur bait castors and Penn saltwater reels. I try to pick them on estate and garage sales as well as FB marketplace when the price is right.

I feel your pain, brother! I have a ton, too! Have them on the wall in my office and on the walls in my garage, and some piled up in various coners of the office and the garage! They're taking over! 😮

Thank you SO MUCH for posting this. I'm using the section at about one minute to show my wife I'm not so bad. I only have about 16 or 17 rods and 25 or so reels. Only 12 are out for use, the rest are boxed up.

I'm a Shimano guy and have many different outfits to apply to different situations. It's costly but worth it because I keep the Walleye, White Bass, Sauger, Saugeye, Crappie, Bluegill, Trout and some catfish I catch. The gear lasts long but I keep getting every lure and accessory I see. It gets costly

I am learning more and more as I go and thank you for all the info and your videos. You have inspired me to start the channel I have fishing and trying to Praise the Lord through it all. Keep it up John. Keep putting the Lord first in all you do and you will always be rewarded and blessed through his grace! Amen!
