Sorry, I haven't tried it with a controller. I found this on Reddit but don't know if its correct: "To throw the boomerang, you need to equip it in your left hand and then press the R1 button. When you do this, you should see a red arc on screen showing you the boomerang's trajectory. You can then release R1 to throw the boomerang. As for spears, they are the same as the boomerang. Equip it in your right hand and press the R2 button to throw it. You should see a blue arch on screen to show the spear's trajactory before releasing R2 to throw."

Now that I stream here too (in addition to Twitch, so its not really an extra work) it make sense to put the reviews here too. I reckon it will eventually sort itself out :)

as someone who mains air raider in ever edf game. yes they start off week but once you start getting certain vehicles and call skills they do massive damage alone or with a group and yes they do support as well

I've said some nasty stuff about this game, all of it true. The game is easily a 6/10 in a gaming world with plenty of titles in the same or similar genre that are a higher score afterall it is 2024 now, 2023 at its release. There are so many games that outclass Starfield and these same games require much more affordable hardware to boot. How fun is the game? Well it is not entirely impossible to have fun with Starfield, it does have its moments, however there is quite a time investment to get there compared to again other games this is not really acceptable. Dated gameplay and in fact gameplay mechanics that have been seen before not just from Bethesda but from other companies going back 30 years, even the dogfights are practically the exact same as found in Wing Commander Privateer in 1994. Story, sorry but even going back 30 years we can find far more compelling stories coming from Space Science Fiction games an example again, Wing Commander released in 1986. Mass Effect Series, 2003~2009 and Mass Effect Andromeda despite its bad reputation still better released in 2017. The modding scene might be the one thing that makes Starfield something worth playing in a few years, yes I am aware that there are those saying it does so now, and well that is a disappointment considering I've already done the modding scene for 2 decades so I have far more developed pallete than those that are first timers. In the end my point remains the same, you can get a better game from the last 30 years of gaming that does space genre better and how should that effect final outcome score? Should the game be rated 6 out 10 considering I can get a better game decades even before it? No, not really.....So the game is a failure.

Good review. Wanted to know more on it. You're non-bias but certainty more knowledgeable about games. I liked dying light 2 as gameplay but the story killed it for me. Ultimately the gameplay wasn't enough to keep playing. I've done everything to do on State of Decay 2. I've played most of the resident evils. I'm at loss on zombie games.

Congratulations pal, I don't normally waste my time replying to idiots but you're in the running now for the Moron of the Month award. I played a couple of hours of the demo and then 3 weeks later - after some things had been patched and changed and enough time had lapsed for me to forget how certain mechanics worked - I played the full release. I'm guessing you saw my demo video and then part of the full gameplay series back to back without stopping to look at the dates. Thanks for announcing you're leaving the channel though, we were all waiting with baited breath eager to hear about it.

I laughed pretty hard when I heard you can't carry much because you too easily become encumbered. but you can carry a small amount of things to the ship and store it in the hull (which sounds not fun at all). then when you finally find someone who can buy the stuff you gathered - they don't have a lot of money. was the goal of bethesda to make a game that was the opposite of fun? how many ridiculous and bad ideas can you put into 1 game? I played it free on xbox game pass but I only lasted about 3 hours before I decided never to play again

The one I watched was in the original Japanese language with English subtitles. I think it might have been a mistake to use CGI but still make it look like the 50's style stop-motion stuff or a guy in a rubber suit. I thought the monster effects were a bit off, especially when it was walking across Japan.

I certainly had fun with it. I even played it again for a couple of hours last weekend and found I was still enjoying it the second time around. It's certainly not perfect, but there is a decent amount of entertainment to be had for the price.
