Please come back to Atlanta. I love you inside and out. I could listen to you 24/7 . I know you just finished a tour. Unfortunately it didn't include GA. It's on my bucket list to see you again. Somewhere in Georgia. I would love to meet you. WOW !!! That would be beyond words. Your voice, the strong message that goes along with your songs. You give me peace, I can relate to so many. I've been listening to you since 10,000 Maniacs. God Bless you !

Oh, Miss Tilly, I think you should know Everyone's missing you here With your hair in a mess, in your outdated dress When Halston was all the rage Back in your Chelsea Girl days Oh, Miss Tilly, I think you should know Everyone's missing you here With your bright yellow walls and your pashmina shawls Crystals, chimes and your moonflower vines Tinctures, teas and your secret remedies And your voice like Buffy Sainte-Marie Oh, I just can't believe that you're gone You've gone so far away That you're gone You've gone so far away Gone Oh, Miss Tilly, I think you should know Everyone's missing you here Your fortune telling cards, prayer flags in the yard Your Rilke poems and your stacks of Mother Jones Your feminist raves in your Didion shades And your Zeppelin, so loud and so proud Your Zeppelin, so loud and so proud Here's to your days at the barricades Here's to the girls in the fray Oh, how I wish you could stay But you're gone, you've gone so far away But you're gone, gone You've gone so far away Gone, mmm Gone Oh, you've gone away You've gone away Oh, you've gone You've gone away Sister Tilly, you go on without us Sister Tilly, you don't think about us now Everything fades away Sister Tilly, you're a superpower Sister Tilly, you're a lotus flower now Everything fades away Sister Tilly, you're a constellation Sister Tilly, you're a white light vibration now Everything fades away No craving for sensation No want, and no temptation now Tears fall down like rain No fear and no delusion No doubt and no confusion now Tears fall down like rain There's nothing but the big forever There's nothing but a sweet surrender now You're a constellation A white light vibration now A superpower, a lotus flower No sensation, no temptation No delusion, no confusion now Go on Go on without us Don't think about us now Go on

HOLY Mac n' cheese! That was STUNNING, poignant, inspiring, poetic - worthy of Didion. God, I miss songs with meaningful lyrics. Maybe they're on their way back! 🤞

Those who put their trust in Lord Jesus have eternal life...i.e...getting out alive through the door > Jesus is the door, John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

It might be surprising to know that some people in Russia do know Natalie and love her and her songs. She is great and she does represent an era, as one of the commenters wrote here. Thumbs up and cheers from Moscow, Russia! 👍

First time hearing this song. My mom had me in 1968 when she was a free spirited, independent 19 year old. She was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer. I’ve been holding it together, until now…

Aileen grew up harder than a lot of us can even begin to relate to. The 1st male that was killed, I truly believe that he violated her and she defended herself, but it set her on the path she decided to take. (It's been proven that male had a previous record of sexual & physical abuse against females...). I also think the pressure of providing for Tyra and being the only one bringing in any money, contributed to her decision to rob & kill the other men. But who knows the violence she encountered in her chosen profession?? I've watched and read a lot of true crime in the past 30 years, and there's so many friends & family of killers that always say, " I can't believe it. So-and-so isn't capable, they're too nice, etc." Well, the same could also be true about the men she killed. We can't possibly know, bc we were not there, if some or all of the other deaths were the result of violence perpetrated against Aileen, even if the friends & families say they were good, kind men. But I don't think killing her was the answer, but I also can't say that she would have, if given the chance, chose life in prison for herself - I think that was worse than death to her, especially at the end...Regardless, my prayers are with her & the males' families & friends bc those are the ones who are left to suffer...
