@caseyk4202 nah that’s understandable, when I slowly pieced everything together I was the same way. It takes some time to get it all working properly, so dedicate a day for setting it up, but holy is it cool in the end.

Depends on how much I’m moving and what actions I’m doing. If I’m just standing and talking in VRChat and doing some light leg movements, then probably like once every hour or so. If I’m trying to smack around my enemies in blade and sorcery with my feet, then probably once every 20 minutes. Recalibrating is very easy though as it does it automatically if you press the up d-pad button on the Joycon or double tap one of your phone screens. And no problem man I’m happy more people get to try this out!

The base Subnautica VR was incredibly disappointing, I wouldn’t even call it a VR mode, more just taping your typical monitor onto your face. This mod makes it actually worth while, so I hope you do check it out!

Quest 3S just came out, not a bad beginner headset at all.

Absolutely it’s literally a whole different game in VR. Same fundamentals but the experience is unparalleled. Definitely recommend and of course, free if you already own the game!

I use Nvidia Shadowplay to record because there is no performance drop when using it. It’s great, but you need a higher end Nvidia GPU from what I’m aware.

I used to play it a ton back in 2017-2018, was a shock to me that they decided to close it while it was still one of the most popular VR games. It really was a fantastic game.

Yeah like 3 or 4 months ago it came out, but Quest users get it this week, and I was waiting for some mods to release before I made a video on it.

Crystal Hunt existed before, but was just the simple dungeon run mode. It wasn’t exactly called Crystal Hunt from what I remember, but it’s the same exact mode, yet now with a skill tree and more dungeons to run through. So yes, it did exist before this update.

@@CaptainsRath Crystal hunt was always supposed to be a separate mode, the dungeons were added to build up to the development of the full crystal hunt gamemode, so its not technically crystal hunt, but i get what you're saying.

It was fixed with a relaunch of the game, so I think it was just a bug. Guessing it didn’t properly read my inputs for it at the time of recording.

You actually CAN repair in the moonpool, aim for between the body of the seamoth and the wing of it, it works, always has. Also I tested it outside of the moonpool too and it didn’t work. It just doesn’t work in VR at times. Def bugged.

Yeah I have some nexus mods running, but it’s still not a lot, and a lot of them are simple reskins. I’m talking about those beefy mods that legit change the game, those are still being updated to 1.0.

@@CaptainsRath ya the only one I can think of is the outer ring but if you look at jenux he has has some great mods. Silk also has a few great skill trees like the healer or toxicology

Oh yeah I always get upset when games just default to the stick controls and It’s so disappointing because games like No Man’s Sky prove that it works beautifully. It’s a game changer fr.

They added a lot more than that to give them credit. They added stealth, 5 skill trees each with 3 layers, better graphics, better performance, quintupled the uses of each spell, added Crystal Hunt which is a dungeon run mode but with secrets and story to unlock in each run, every sandbox map remade and updated, a fully updated SDK, and even more that I’m finding everyday. I too would like a full campaign mode like Boneworks or HLA, but I’m really happy with what we got here.

I can’t imagine any graphics improvements, earlier they said the full release of Nomad will not have any Quest 3 upgrades for quality or performance, so I’d say no.

@@CaptainsRath i think nexus is filled with tons of 1.0 updated mods, if you were going off modio it doesnt have as much compared to nexus

@ryalyplafes3709 there def are more mods on Nexus, but it’s still a low amount relative to what we had (which makes sense since the update is pretty new).

@@CaptainsRath yeah, i could see the one better blood effects one with the streams of it out of his nose, i love using that one. but also, i think theres too many of those skin ones and ones with like one weapon. i hope to see more megapacks in the future so it never feels like the game is finished

Oh yeah the better blood mod is basically a requirement to me, it looks so good. I also agree, a massive chunk of mods right now are just “oh here’s a skin” or “here’s a weapon that’s already in the game but hey, it now looks like something else”. And I find this really boring because it’s nothing actually new.

I’m getting a lot of requests so I’m very much leaning towards a yes on making a tutorial. Only thing that sucks is that it’s only for PCVR as Quest can’t do body tracking, but that’s a given tbh.

As long as the game itself is running off your computer then yeah Quest Link would be fine, I’m using my Quest 3 wirelessly through Virtual Desktop with Blade and Sorcery running off my PC.
