Would have been a good video but for the fact that you never zoomed in or did closeup shots of working with the small parts. It is REALLY difficult to differentiate certain pieces and this is challenging for newbies or those of us that like to triple check everything. It’s very frustrating especially since y’alls video has the best instructions of any KZbin cleaning video - would y’all be willing to rerecord or splice in some closeup shots?

My wife absolutely loves hers. She has never been able to shoot a rifle well or even a handgun well. Pretty good with a shotgun. But when I bought her this gun put a laser on it with a light. It is incredibly accurate and so easy to carry and operate

WTF?!😂😂😂 First of all, I like DD. I worked drug enforcement in the area where they are located. I’ve even wired up CI’s in their parking lot. But this pistol? 😂 I don’t care if it could shoot fleas off the tip of a dog’s dick at 20 yds., I wouldn’t own this gun. It’s fugly. Did DD purchase the Hi Point design? It looks like over 80% of the guns I’ve taken off dealers, dopers and tweakers. Nope.

For the price I kinda expected a bit more from the pistol like say different optic plates for it, a threaded barrel or built in compensator/muzzle break, a heavy tungsten guide rod with a heavy recoil spring and a lighter trigger pull plus an extra mag or two instead of just the 2 it comes with

Took the Gunsite week-long carbine course with 19 other men. It was brutal weather and the course was run hard by the Gunsite team. The only two rifles that made it through the course without failures were two stock DDM4 V7s. Lots of lessons learned that week. First lesson is rifles like DD make are over-gassed for a damn good reason.

Any plans on making a new generation of hanguards that will fit the same locking mechanism but minus the full top pic rail and maybe lightening it up by removing most of the pic rail in the middle and just leaving enough slots for a front sight n then skeletonizing the middle portion of it for more heat dissipation ?

Have the accuracy and reliability issues been fixed? Saw one in a shop last week and thought about picking it up but haven't seen if that stuff has been fixed or not.

The initial reports involved a very small number of H9 units launched in early 2024. Since then, we have made significant upgrades to the H9 to enhance its reliability and performance. You can trust that the improvements reflect our commitment to delivering products that meet the high standards you expect from us. Learn more here: danieldefense.com/h9

It appears to handle like a 10mm micro compact in some of these clips like @1:08. Hearing how much work went into it I want to take the leap, but the only way to test the trigger quality is taking a $1300 gamble w an online buy. Can anyone reference a gun w a similar trigger?
@pistolperrynoya94692 ай бұрын
So Hudson version was horrible. DD buys it, launches it and it still sucked. So what exactly did DD change and improve in this 3.0 model? Needs better explanation before spending $1300 in a 15rnd 9mm.

So I found this slightly used in a 308 caliber with 16" barrel. I was in the market for 6.5 creedmore and bought bc I could swap out my barrel on this gun to a 6.5 cm. Shooting the 308 at 700 yards is incredible . This gun made me realize 6.5 creedmore isn't needed for me in ga . Great gun and after shooting I would pay full price for a new one

@danieldefense did you improve that trigger? I feel like if the trigger was better, I’d buy. If you could make it comparable to a 1911 or 2011 I believe you’d sell much more. It’s a metal frame, not sure why you can’t lighten that trigger. The demo you brought to a media day, was not great, worse than a factory G19.

I agree about Colion. I like him on news related stuff, but he shills really hard on stuff like this and USCCA. That being said, I got one of the initial release DH9’s and after the first 200 rounds I’ve had no issues. Actually my absolute favorite gun to carry. Great ergonomics and insanely easy to control. I have noticed a couple of keyholes when I shoot at 15-25 yards, but weirdly they’re keyholes on target so it’s not such a terrible issue (want to point out that the keyholes are rare even at that range). I’ve actually had more reliability out of mine than me or my buddies’ glocks. There are a lot of lemon versions of these out there, but if DD’s re-released pistols are similar to mine in quality, I couldn’t recommend them more
