The officials from the Chargers/Steelers game were fired the next day

Every damned ref should be fired during the off-season, and not be allowed to officiate anything, anywhere!

Somebody should sabotage the dang refs, these are some of the worst calls I’ve ever seen!

is not there for all half Coaches on the team okay I was checking on the Referee plays is not good is the worst Referee top 20 I saw okay thanks. Alternate title: "Reasons why penalties should be reviewable" YES, PI was reviewable for a season and the refs literally refused to reverse bad PI calls in rebellion. It would be fairer but it removes the human aspect from the game that everybody likes Trust me, no one likes the feeling of a blown call deciding a game, regardless of how human it is. The losing team feels cheated and the winning team's victory is cheapened. Yeah but then every game would take forty-five days to end I’m pretty sure they are That's useless. in German soccer, we have the VAR (video assistant referee) and the decisions are still often very wrong. People make mistakes and some flawed people just shouldn't do the job. Also missed penalties you are the only person in this thread who gets it. I award you all the points, and may God have mercy on the souls of everyone else who keeps watching the NFL after these refs are clearly tampering with games. It's not a "human" error anymore. That era is long gone. We're in the era of hypnotized masses of people denying what they see with their own eyes, even from a thousand different angles in high-definition slow motion. They want to believe so hard that they can unfuck any bogus situation whatsoever with their Olympic-level mental gymnastics. thank god this stupid period of nfl overreacting to head injuries in the dumbest way possible is over. I can't watch another penalty where no one has the faintest idea if it's roughing the passer or not.

Can someone explain the lynch one? Not familiar with all the rules of fb
@terenceherbert842 Жыл бұрын
So there is a thing called forward progress so when you get held up or stuck up and someone is trying to tackle you and you don't go down, the ref will blow the whistle after about 5 seconds. In this case, people think the refs blew the whistle too early. So yeah that's the explanation of that call.

The Rams winning against the Saints with that obvious af PI was one of the cheapest displays I've ever seen in NFL. The refs/officials didn't care.. saints got robbed big time.

It's obvious the league doesn't want defense. The NFL will eventually look like arena football albeit with a lot of more defensive penalties. After all how can they have 2 hrs of commercials. Football is a pansy sport now days.

The worst part about the penalties on Trey Flowers is the referee looks like he is trying so hard not to smile. Just look at 5:11 and try telling me the guy wasn't trying to hold back a grin. They may as well just stopped all play and given Green Bay the win.

Part of the reason for this falling on the QB rule is way back in 2000, AFC Championship Game, Ravens at Raiders, it was legal back then, but Tony Saragusa sacked Rich Gannon of the Raiders and fell on him breaking his collar bone and knocking him out of the game. Thus, that one play ended up sending the Ravens to the Super Bowl as the Raiders, favored to win, were left with a backup QB and were then held to just three points at home for the entire game. Losing a QB is not only a game but season changer. Just the way it is, they are the REAL franchise players.

Haden did not pass interference he didn't hold he had his hand on him to make sure we're the other guy was he had his eye on the ball for a interception he did not hold or grab just feel for were the receiver was the fact a good wide receiver would make a good strong safety in the back of the defense and read the QB from experience being a WR the ability to run catch interceptions and some what read the offensive line a TE or WR would make a SS. He wasn't pushing or grabbing his jersey he was using his hand to feel the other player to make sure he was still covered while he kept his eyes on the ball for a possible interception not doing nothing to interfere with the pass
