I used to have a friend who has BPD. Our friendship was brief and it mainly consisted of helping one another w our respective thesis before we completed film school. She stopped talking to me out of nowhere one day and have not heard from her since, aside from some posts from her still active facebook- she seems to be doing fine, and I left it at that.

Hello. I’m a schizophrenic and I’ll answer questions if you’re curious. Most of us ca. speak this clearly about what is happening to us. The delusions aren’t delusions at all to us. Just when we’ve convinced ourselves it’s not real something will happen that pulls us back in. If your five senses told you that what you are witnessing is real what makes it not real. The fact that no one else can see it? I’ll tell you an interesting fact, one can become so sympathetic to someone experiencing hallucinations that they too can then experience them. Whenever I was having an episode my ex could see and hear the things that I could see and hear. Sometimes I wouldn’t even be there and he’d start having his own encounters with “them”.

I don’t know the true vintage of this particular film. But, being raised by someone just like him, I can only think that his particular story shown here is very very typical: almost like cooking a certain dish in exactly the same way. All humanoïds evolve during life: up and down. Up, mostly, getting to a grownup stage in a sense. Humanoïds like him evolve too: getting more successful at going down, and taking others with them along their way... They act like 2 year olds emotionally. Very very very dangerous to put a 2 year old’s way of ‘thinking’ into an otherwise matured evolving body with normal but very hyper focused growing knowledge of its surroundings. Like a learning virus. My father is in a hospital now because of his Alzheimer’s. The mask of sanity is leaving... Behind the mask there’s fear, fear, large amounts of nothingness and more fear, fear of other humanoïds out there to get them or their valuables... just like any 2 year old. These people need 24/7 strict parenting for life to live. But, we managed to give them the opposite: a society more aligned with their way of thinking (not reasoning!). That’s just as dangerous as handing every 2 year old, regardless background or gender, the nuclear football when it’s not their birthday being celebrated, but an other spoiled 2 year old’s, getting all the presents and attention... Boom!! It will flash... No brakes. Wrong algorithm... Sorry.
