Been binging on Johnny Dollar for a month...thank you for providing it to us!!!!!! These old radio shows are so cool....every once in awhile I have to pause a show and laugh....that although I picture every scene as it unfolds....they are really in a booth in a recording studio, lol

I love the old radio shows I tend to listen to comedy more often because it is easier to play in the background while doing other things but the dramas and thrillers are the absolute best, and Johnny Dollar is the best of the best thanks

Johnny Dollar was the cream of the golden age. Gun smoke was the premiere western in the day.

I have 30 sets of old-time radio from Carl Froelich, including several Johnny Dollars, which is one of the best series. But the plural doesn't take an apostrophe, n it's 'soldier'. What do they teach in school these days? Oh yes, whole language (which doesn't teach how to spell).

I like how Jeanne Tatum adds a grating smugness whenever Marty Blake wants someone to be nice to her.

I noticed that the women who are supposed to be in there 20's sound like they are in there 40's... They sound like life long smokers ,and drinkers...
@theoregan41833 жыл бұрын
I thought the same thing, I have noticed just how much women would age back then. Smoking unfiltered cigarettes and hard liquor on a daily basis can age a person, an example, Jack Webb, who was only 62 when he died, looked in his late fifties, early 60's during dragnet 60's he was only late 40's
