I was able to fix my controller. You just need a dremel , drill and a small screw (you can use a ps4/5 screw)

I was thinking about overhauling my partners 2015 imac, with some new thermal paste and an ssd. it's seems really struggling to multi-task anything, and the hdd seems to be on the brink of death, but alas.. Apples artistic and futuristic mobo designs.. Really seems time consuming and nerve wrecking to maintain hardware in these things.

Two questions for anyone, I guess: Where do you actually buy the gimbal housing? How do you remove the right "side arm"? It looks like gimbal housings are sold without that one arm, so it would be hard to fix replace the gimbal without knowing how to remove the arm.

As long its not conductive crappy paste, then you're good. To much is a mess, to little is just not making great contact and can impact temperature in the long run. Don't you hate when someone is judging how much exactly like mili gram you should use lol😂

What is the longest lasting thermal paste? Rather not be wasting time adding liquid metal again.

sir please make a similar video on the types of thermal pads from different companies and how to apply them on the gpus' vrams, mosfets, power delivery, backside of mobo where the vrams are connected to backplate , because theres not a high quality video like this one on thermal pads application , only small size youtubers have dont it in a haphazard way , because they are of different sizes , different specs and not the same gpu needs various size of thickness pads for different components , it becomes difficult for user to change them , but it really affects gpus temps and life
